Review: I checked it was launched in 1947. - I'm over 60 now so have used this since I was a kid helping my dad with car and workshop stuff. It's always done the job required, cleans off oil dirt and more. There's a bit of nostalgia in this product for me. If I smell it it takes me back to days long gone. Not sure if there's something nowadays that outperforms Swarfega original but the very fact that I've used it for over half a century and it's still available means a lot. It just works!

**Q: does it smell like it did in the 80s?**
A: Most definitely "NO". There is a smell, but suggest a final wash/rinse with any toilet soap. Have done this for years.

**Q: Does this remove smells from skin? Eg pet urine or perfume?**
A: Hi, based on the times I've used it, it's removed the smells, although they were mainly automotive smells, like oil and fuel.

**Q: Would it work on clothes? Including whites?**
A: It's a hand cleaner, but it might

**Q: will it remove cartridge ink from skin**
A: I would guess no,  there are some very good ideas on YouTube but don't try these if your skin is at all sensitive . Mine isn't  .good luck.
