Accurate time saver
Love having this tool for quick estimates. Seems like it is well made. App is friendly. I've had no problem with accuracy.

Great quality and easy for notes!
I love this laser measure. I’ve used the Bosh in the past and this one is far better and by it taking 4 measurements instead of 2 on its screen it is so much to document a room fully. I recommend!

The ideal appliance for home use.
This instrument works well in the home. It is accurate and well assembled. All functions are easy to operate. All buttons are clearly arranged and easy to use. The inbuilt level ensures accurate measurements. It has the best features in the market. Some of these features are not even mentioned in the advertisements. You can even add or subtract some distance while measuring. For example, you can subtract a doorway while measuring a wall. The app allows you to enter all the data into an Excel spreadsheet. This will definitely be very useful for people who are doing interior renovations. The laser dot is only visible indoors. It is a pity that, even in cloudy weather, it is impossible to work with the device outside. I bought it to measure exterior walls, but it is useless for that. Take, for example, measuring the width of a garage door in cloudy weather. It's pointless to do that. I don't know, maybe another device would be useful for my job? I'm very disappointed to be returning it. I really liked this unit.

Decent, a little overpriced.
App is not easy to use. Low functionality. Laser is good. Outdoor does not work at all during the day but at night it's visible. Even on cloudy days does not work.

Works very well and accuracy is within 1/16 for 35 ft that I tested. There is an app which has potential but not being able to put phone in landscape makes it difficult to use. Having the ability to save 4 measurement is a big plus. Display is clear and easy to ready. I mainly use for measuring new homes for cabinets.

Works great and battery lasts a long time. No issues

I am using this mostly outside - where conventional measures are harder or less practical to use. In bright sunlight it is hard to impossible to see the laser pointer to know what is being measured. On cloudy days or early in the evening it is much better, very simple -

What’s Included: - Laser measurement device, 2 x AAA batteries, lanyard, felt storage pouch & user manual First Impressions: - Was happy to see it came with the AAA batteries as most companies don’t bother and forces me to hunt or buy batteries I don’t have. This can be used right out of the box, just the way I like it. - Battery compartment tab is very difficult to open, needed a plastic wedge to pop the cover off - Was very interested in the app that can be linked to the device to allow you to create a measured floor plan - Unit measures approx. 5cm x 11.5cm x 2.8cm with an all plastic shell. It’s light, but seems to feel solid. First Use: Turning on the unit, the backlit display immediately starts showing the angle of the device. This will make it easy to figure out the angle of any points or even if the surface is leveled. It has the capability of measuring, distance, height, angle/slope, volume, temperature and much more. It can be paired with the Smart Life app via Bluetooth. I already had the app installed on my phone for other smart devices, but it has the option to create an account to use the app or use the Try Now function so you can use it without creating an account. I would recommend creating it as I had a smart light that would lose its settings every 30 days because I didn’t have an account. The app also asks for location (GPS) & BT access, which I provided as it made finding my devices and adding them to the app very simple. It’ll generally find the device, you click add and done. No need to locate the exact picture of the device or the device type as it’ll do it for you. I bring this up as I had a smart lock which used the same app, but it did not show the exact model/picture of the lock in their manual selection box, yet the auto detect found and installed it for me. In the app, it records your past measurements as well as has a basic floorplan designer function. You can manually draw your walls or use a photo of your floorplan and using the laser device, can sync the measurements right into the app which would update the wall lengths you drew automatically. Pros: - Fairly compact device - Accuracy is excellent - Multitude of measurement options - Can change measurement types from metric to imperial - Sync’s with the app to keep a history of past measurements as well as the floorplan designer - Comes with the necessary 2 x AAA batteries Cons: - The body is made of hard plastic, I don’t know if it would survive at the job site, rubber bumpers would have helped Final Impression: Overall, I found the Mileseey D5 laser measuring tool did a great job. Not only does it do the standard distance measurements, but it also handles angles, height calculations, volume and much more. It can also be paired with the Smart Life app to record past measurements as well as perform floorplan designing with the sync’d measurements from the device. I’m sure this would help your next project/reno.

I am impressed with the accuracy of this Mileseey D5 laser measure. Placing my tape measure side by side with the unit, it yields near identical readings to the millimeter. I also like it's compact design and I can lug it anyway as easily as my actual tape measure. In fact, it's even lighter and takes up less space! It takes way less effort to measure things like room dimensions and flooring than the traditional tape measure. I like the angle readout so you know your measurements are always straight. The same can't be said for my Milwaukee tape measure. I also like the modes to calculate area and volume which is useful in picking the right air purifier a the living space. I also stood in front of a window frame and tried the Pythagorean mode to measure the length. Incredibly, the measurement was within a CM of the actual number. Very impressive given the variables of my moving hand and laser pointing skills. Very handy if you need some rough estimates. In the manual, they used it (Pythagorean mode) to measure the height of a house, which is very difficult to do using a tape measure. I also like the fact that you can offset the measurement to include the length of the Mileseey unit itself or exclude it altogether and measure only from the laser emitter. The former is handy when you need to measure from wall to wall. You can also change the measurement units on the fly from feet to meters to inches to foot inches. It would do the auto conversion if you had already done the measurements in feet and wanted to see it in inches for example. I found the unit easy to operate and most of the functions and buttons are logically laid out that you'd be alright even without the manual. For the more advanced functions, the included manual is very well written without broken English. Along with picture diagrams, you'll be able to master all the various functions of the measure without trouble. The unit also has bluetooth capability and integrates with the same Smart Life app that many other devices uses. Using the app, you can transfer measurement data from the laser measure to your phone. Regrettably, I have to admit that I did not use or test the app functions because I do not want another app on my phone for security reasons. As for the unit itself, it's entirely plastic without any rubberized grips. However, it still feels relatively solid and still provides adequate grip due to the contoured sides. The buttons are nice and responsive. It takes 2x AAA batteries which means you can easily swap new ones in (instead of charging the batteries) if the batteries die mid way through your project. The inclusion of a soft cloth carry case and hand strap is also nice. At the time of review, the Mileseey Laser Measure costs $69 with a $20 coupon. With the coupon, this is considerably less than a low end Bosch while offering much more functionality. Without the coupon, it becomes close to a branded option that the choice comes down to the number of functions that you require and brand recognition. Overall, I feel that the unit offers good build quality, excellent accuracy and a host of measurement functions not found in cheaper units. It is definitely worth a look especially when it goes on sale. If you do not require smartphone/bluetooth functions, there are others including ones from this same company at a lower cost.
