I purchased the Funtime Gifts Singing Sensation Billy Bass for use in a themed business event, and it turned out to be a brilliant addition to the setup. This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Spent 20 minutes straight playing it and laughing. 1000% recommend. Super nostalgic too.

A little disappointed, although a singing fish it is not the same as the original and does not sing the same songs despite the picture on Amazon suggesting it does (don’t worry be happy / take me to the river). Still, amused my 2 year old grandson who drives his parents crazy keep getting the fish to sing its one song, I will survive.

UPDATE: Revising this to 1* review as it lasted less than a month before it stopped working. Had to send it back, which isn’t great for a £40 birthday present… -Original review- My dad loves it and cannot stop hiding behind the corner and pressing the button to startle us. It also has a sensor mode, so I fully expect him to hide it somewhere and I will walk past it and set it off. Mum is ready to throw it out the window, but has restrained herself as she sees how much joy it brings him.

We had the original Billy Bass fish, so for a laugh I bought my husband the new version for his birthday, it’s great, it’s good quality, arrived on time, complete with batteries. Shame it doesn’t sing the same song but the seller did state that the song is ‘I will survive’, it’s still hilarious and brought back memories and I’m sure it will entertain the grand kids too.
