The appearance is sleek you screw to pieces together and tahdaaa!! Easy peasy lemon squeeze. It doesn’t over heat and it has different brightness I think there is 3 stages, the lamp moves (meaning where the light comes out of they separate) and u can position it any way u want it’s so cool my husband is obsessed with this lamp. It bright!!! Then u can make it super dim!!! But for those days u want a dim light but still bright this is your lamp. A must have for any home office, I love the quality of the lamp.

This light does what it says it does. Is fairly bright and works well in the space I needed to use it. I don't like the buttons for on/off, brightness, and color temperature. They're near impossible to use in the dark because the buttons don't light up and they are flat, not raised up, so in the dark you can't see them and you can't feel them. Also, you have to rotate through to get to the setting you want. As you press the buttons to go from bright to less bright,or cool temperature to warm temperature, it is all a one way action. If you go one setting too far, you have to keep pressing the same button more times to get back to the setting you want. Other lights have a better way to handle this by having a + and - button so if you go one too far you press the other button to go one back. The button control is annoying, but I'm not sure if there's a light like this one with a better button layout so I only took off one star. Overall it works as advertised.

I purchased this after trying another model that didn't fit behind my monitors. My monitors are essentially pushed up against my wall so this light worked well because of the small profile where it attached to the desk. I included a picture of the clamp to the desk, very sturdy. Obviously you twist the knob to tighten the pressure so it's also easy to remove! I really like the adjustable arms, my monitors are at an angle to each other so this is perfect. The different light settings (temp of color and intensity of brightness) work well! My ceiling light is behind me so this also doubled as a ring light when I am on calls, and helps illuminate my face. I am super happy with it. I receive comments on it when colleagues visit my office and have seen a few purchase their own as well!

I work from home and it's a bit dark where my desk is, I bought this light and it works great super bright, lots of settings and out of the way since it clamps to the desk it is not crowding my work station

Really like the flexibility and the choice of how lit you want your home work area to be soft light or brighter. Super easy to put together for someone who does not normally like that - took less than five minutes. Purchased just in time for fall to winter light in Midwest. Value for money spent. Nice lighting for zoom meetings as well. Would be good for a crafter as well.

MUST HAVE - I have it over my desk but can move it around and pull out the light sources - its just so versatile. I love it.
