It lathers very well and you don’t need to use very much. My hair is soft and clean after using and it does not strip my hair of moisture! I am older with arthritis in my hands. My only “complaint” is the diameter of the bottle. It is challenging for me to hold and squeeze the bottle - especially when it’s wet.
