Koch 86100 Amazing Weather Ball

Awesome conversation piece, and it really works! When a hurricane front came through here, the water actually ran out the top! I LOVE it!

So far so bad. Even following the directions on the box, I've failed miserably to get the required amount of coloured liquid in the glass. I've inserted the tube and by holding the glass as directed, managed to get only half the prescribed quantity of coloured water in the device. And it's a messy business even though the coloured liquid is easily mopped with kitchen roll. Am I possibly trying to fill the glass too quickly?? Update - Great news as I've now succeeded in mastering the filling process and the glass is performing beautifully and predicting pressure/weather changes with considerable accuracy. Enjoyable product.

Unsure if it works because I did it by the instructions and did nothing and was advice to put 2 more syringes in so its now half way but still not doing anything but be fare the weather is stabble at the moment so I will report again in 6 month but do like the looking of it

Very, very accurate! We find it amazing how it works, however, we experienced high volumes of fog over two days, & the weather ball overflowed, so I put in within an old baking tray. Just glad I was home when this happened as the red liquid would have stained my sideboard.

Poor production value, the thermometer is not working. I am VERY dissappointed with this item !!!!!!!

Set it up and like other reviewers it keeps 'boiling' over also very hard to actually read the room temperature. Must say I'm disappointed to say the least.

I carefully set this up according to the instructions and it looked lovely but it keeps 'boiling over' and wrecking my nice white window sill. Maybe I have it in an inappropriate place (window sill), but the instructions don't mention that.

Ich hatte bereits solch eine ähnliche Wetterkugel und weiss dass diese gut funktionieren. Diese Wetterkugel sollte daher ein kleines Geschenk zum Einzug einer Freundin ins eigene Haus werden. Dass die Temperatur nur in Fahreneinheit und nicht in Grad angezeigt wird ist mein Fehler - das habe ich anscheinend schlichtweg überlesen.... Allerdings könnte es auch sein das der Beschreibungstext jetzt erst berichtigt wurde??? Richtig ärgert mich jedoch dass das Glas zum einen nicht grade gegossen bzw geblasen ist und damit die Kugel nicht ganz grade steht! Außerdem befindet sich weder auf noch im Karton eine deutsche Anleitung.... Als Geschenk, für jemanden der diese Kugeln nicht kennt, ungeeignet. Habe mich fast ein wenig beschämt als die Beschenkte den Karton geöffnet hat. Einzig positiv zu erwähnen: Eine Spritze mit Schlauch und rotes Farbpulver liegt mit bei.
