On the other hand, they probably won't erase your credit card strip or disable your pacemaker. They are iron magnets like those that I, a 77-year-old, had as a kid. My idea is that a magnet should be strong enough that if you put one on top of a wooden (plastic?) table and one below, you can drag the top one around by moving the bottom one.
