The BEST base and top coat for gel nails
I have been using Gelish top and base coat for years. There has never been an issue with this product. It goes on smoothly, leaves a great base for gel color polish of your choice and a topcoat is fantastic. Now, keep in mind, a little goes a long way with the top coat. It does take a bit of a learning curve if you have not done gel nails before. The top coat is not like a regular nail polish top coat. Gel polish requires a top coat and it is on the thicker side. Brush as much off of the painting brush as possible so it does not get too thick in any one area. I personally purchase this duo pack yearly. I paint my nails about twice per month and it lasts me all year. This is a bargain compared to getting nails professionally done. And, I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. So, most people don't even know I am not getting my nails done at a salon. This would make a good gift for people who do their own nails.

Great set for beginners!
This set is great! The foundation and top it off bottles are huge so they should last me forever… one helpful thing I didn’t know is the foundation layer is supposed to be sticky after curing so that the other layers will adhere well (I am a beginner)… this is a great set for beginners and great value for money

Have been using this combo on my gel manicures for about a year now and it’s so great! My gel manicure’s last about a month.

Top coat is terrible
This top coat had me convinced my light wasn’t working. So I bought TWO new ones. But I was still curing for 45 MINUTES! I’m not a noob with gel polish either, so I know I wasn’t doing it too thick or uneven. Can’t say enough bad things about it. Use a different brand.
