This is badass, great thundering sound

The bass is tight. Perfect matching with EV Everse 8 at 150 hz

I love the compact size and sound of these subs. They are exactly what we wanted. Easy on the backs and small enough to put in the SUV with all the other equipment for a small band PA system.

Wow… punchy bass, really good response down to 50 hz, and useable below (just quieter). Lightweight (actually weights about 45lbs, specs are off), is so compact that it is easier to carry than other bigger subs. I find it easier to move than Bose Sub1 due to 2 handles. I’m using it for jazz and jazz funk organ, and it sounds great for acoustic bass. It’s not going to hit super heavy, but it’s a 1200W peak 12” sub. I A-B’d it directly to a Bose Sub1 and it has much more even response, punchier/ faster, may more volume and just more musical sounding to my ears. The bluetooth app is super useful with selectable low pass filters/ and modes to really craft your sound, and also adjust level. One BIG negative in my opinion: NO BUILT-IN CROSSOVER. It just has a low pass filter for the sub, and is designed to be used with tops that have built-in high pass filters, or an external crossover device. So, if you don’t have tops that have HPF or an external crossover, I would not recommend this. I am using it with RCF TT515A’s and it sounds great. They have a 90hz HPF option. It’s not quite as useful with my RCF HD-10A, which doesn’t have a HPF. (Taking low frequencies out of the tops makes them sound way better and also frees up a lot of extra power for them).

Package came in its entirety and packaged well. plugged it in and was blown away by its power. turned it up only a quarter up and patio ceiling started vibrating. my neighbors are going to love so much now! lol

I am a fan of Electro-Voice since many years ago, even though before making the investment I searched a little bit in the sub woofer market to figure it out about prices, technology, etc.. I found that the ELX200-12SP 12" fit pretty much okay for my in-house surround system. Once installed the bass filled the whole room with an outstanding sound quality without being overwhelming. The sub came with an app which can make very easy to control the volume and some other functions via Bluetooth. For those looking for a quality sub-woofer for being used in your house or small venue the 12'' inches is more than enough, otherwise I recommend to scale up to 15" or 18".

I haven’t used this in a public setting as of yet, but paired with my EV ZLX-12P it sounds great in my basement
