Low-hassle, great colors
I bought these 5050 RGBW LEDs along with a BTF-LIGHTING AC100-240V to DC12V6A power supply and a BTF-LIGHTING Zigbee 3.0 C04Z LED Controller for RGBW, after lots of research and a certain amount of educated guessing, and that combination worked flawlessly for me out of the box. The LEDs come with a cable that connects the pin sockets on the end of the strip to individual wires suitable for insertion into the controller. When inserting each wire, pay attention to the wire color! The order of red and green is switched on the controller relative to the pin order on the LED strip, so you'll need to cross-wire the wires. The colors of the wires in the cable that comes with the LED strip matches the pin order on the strip, so just attach the red wire to the "R" socket on the controller and the green wire to the "G" socket, and you'll be fine (unless you're red-green colorblind, in which case, best of luck!). The controller also comes with two sockets marked V+ (power). Attach the black wire to one of them and leave the other one empty. This advice probably applies to their RGBW controller that has a remote control too, but I can't say for sure. If nothing happens when you plug it in, make sure the plug between the wall socket and the power brick is firmly inserted. It took a fair bit of persuasion for me to get it fully seated. Anyway, on to the actual review: the LEDs are spaced close together on the strip, which is good since it makes it easier for the light to diffuse and be less spotty. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are cut points every three LEDs, which makes it possible to cut the strip to almost any length you want. These cut points do seem to be natural places for the cable to crimp when unwound, though, so be a little careful playing with them before you attach them to something. The colors are pretty spectacular. I can produce a warm, pure, or cool white with these, plus vibrant saturated colors, and the hue stays pretty consistent even as I lower the brightness almost to nothing. The colors produced also match what the app shows, unlike some cheap smart light bulbs I've bought on Amazon in the past. The maximum brightness is very bright indeed. All in all, these lights work exactly as they're supposed to, they're well-made, and setup was way less of a hassle than I anticipated.

Looks Amazing – Warm White Is a Great Touch
These light strips look amazing! I used them for a home project, and I’m really impressed with how vibrant the colors are. The warm white option is what sold me — it gives off a soft, cozy glow that looks great in the evenings, especially in the bedroom or kitchen. The strip feels durable, and the lights are nice and bright without being harsh. It was easy to install, but just a heads-up: it doesn’t come with a power adapter or controller, so you’ll need to get those separately. Once everything’s hooked up, though, the effect is beautiful. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out. Great quality for the price, and the lighting makes a big difference in the space.

Great lights to replace my LIFX light strips
I purchased the 5050 RGBW to replace my ailing LIFX light strips. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Comparing the brightness of the 5050 to my LIFX, I would say that the 5050 reaches about 75% of the brightness of the LIFX at its max. Some colors are brighter than others though. I don't use the adhesive on the 5050 because I read that it's not very sticky. Instead, I use shipping/mailing tape to attach it. (I also did the same with my LIFX). TIP: I had to buy a 3ft extension cable for the 5pin connection because I was mounting it near the ceiling. The 5pin cable included is very short and connects to the power supply brick. Without the extension cable, the power supply would need to be taped to the ceiling/wall. This is different from my LIFX where the cable is very long and doesn't require purchase of the extension cable.

The best strips I've purchased so far, but no included controller or power supply
These are by far my favorite LED strips I've used so far. Although they are pricier than the 30 LEDs/m variants, the increased performance is well worth the added cost if you're seeking a completely diffused look. Unfortunately, there's no included remote control, hub, relay, or power supply... so this is just one component of a larger DIY project. Installation is extremely easy; the adhesive backing is extremely strong. Light quality and color reproduction is as excellent. If you're looking to use these in your project, I recommend seeking out some deep channel spotless diffusers, an LED controller, and a power supply for your shopping list.

Mismatched connectors, twice!
The light strip works well, white is bright and colors vibrant. The green and red appear to be backward, but a simple fix switching the lines to the controller. Just don't rely on the included connector, it is male and both ends of the strip are also male. I returned the first one as defective but the replacement was the same.

All good but there are some important things to know. Reds and Greens (fix)
After reading some of the reviews I took a shot on these lights for use under my kitchen cabinets and I'm glad I did. For those of you that find your reds and greens are switched don't panic. You have to change the device type in the app on your phone or tablet. In the app, once you pair the light strip with your phone or tablet and it's listed under devices, long press the name that you've given it and it will provide you with a menu. One of those options is change device type. On the right hand side, you'll notice that you can change RGBW to GRBW and vice versa. This solved that problem for me but I found the light strip needed to be on for it to save that configuration. As for the adhesive stability of the backing I would recommend installing the lights using aluminum channels if you're able to. They are cheap and easy to cut and install, just make sure you buy the right width. They also diffuse the light which makes it look much better overall. In terms of the power supply needed to run these, I found that 12 volt 1 amp power adapter does the job just fine with no loss of brightness or color degradation. This of course assumes you're just trying to power the single 16.4 foot strip. Good luck.

Lovely item but be warned that the strip is a full 12mm wide so it doesn't fit many aluminium profiles. Even some that say they are for 12mm strips don't fit. So great item but just make sure you get a profile with lots of space. Give a wonderful bright light. These really are very nice indeed. Much better spread of light than the older, cheaper strips that have an RGB LED and separate or no white led. Course you pay for it, but if you need high density, even lighting then these are the only option. The strips have a very high density of LEDs and they are super bright. I used them for backlighting a large wall mounted monitor and the overall effect is stunning. The strip has power connections at both ends and you do need to use both if you use more than half the strip. I experimented and found that at full load (120W) the wires will melt if you only use one of the connections. What I do is to cut the strip in to appropriate lengths, no more than 2.5 meters each. You use those kits of connectors to go round corners or add extra power cables. If you want to backlight a TV, that works out at about two individually powered strips that are 1.6m each for a 50" TV. Each strip has one corner in it. It's a fiddly process, but it's worth it. These strips are awesome and the final effect is amazing. The prices is too high now. There are other identical products on Amazon for a lot less money. So while the product is still a great product, you need to fish around for the best price. Highly recommended.

Erleuchten jetzt seit einigen Jahren meine Vitrinen.

These work great

A little disappointing as you need to purchase an additional Power Adaptor, as not included. Instructions are also lacking in this package.
