Medical Terminology Flash Cards

These cards are awesome for learing medical suffixes, prefixes, and combing forms, does not have medical terms such as definitions. They are a great tool for the price, cards are not flimpsy, small enough to carry with you. Simply, take out the cards you need, and off you go. The delivery time was awesome, I recieved the purchase in about a day after ordering. I will continue to use these card now and in the future for training. They were a great buy, my husband's school had the same cards for five dollars more.

85% of the words I needed this for were in the list, the rest were very easy to make cards for. This deck is fantastic, a lot of the complaints I noticed in the reviews are due to laziness. Yeah it's not by section, like it says on the box several times, but is alphabetized instead. If you pull out your cards as the words come up in class I just don't see what the problem is. Big deal I had to look in the "E's" for epidermis rather than under Integumentary system - learn the alphabet people it's actually an important part of our job to be able to look things up quickly. I highly recommend this set to any student. I got this for the medical assistant program and am very happy I did.

The cards work perfectly fine! They're a little more flimsy with a paper like texture and are in alphabetical order though! I do wish they were grouped differently and if they possible had like a solid divider in between each to help but otherwise they're perfect 🥳

I love this set! I appreciate that they are laminated so that I can pencil in the examples that help me remember the term and its pronounciation. It's an all around great set! P.S. a dog ate card #35 I'm still trying to figure out what was on that card.

Super great value! These cards have saved me so much time from having to write them out myself. There's a piece of removable foam in the back so you can have extra room to add more if needed. Don't understand the complaints about the quality of the paper used for the cards. They're the same thickness of regular 3x5" index cards. Take care of them and they'll be just fine. Read the description before you buy anything online. Your failure to do so does not warrant a bad review.

I have one complaint about this product. The box that holds these cards states no fewer than five times "Tabbed by Topic." It also says "categorized to find them quickly" and "guide to find categories fast." These cards are NOT categorized by topic; they are alphabetized. I thought I could pull out, for example, cards for the chapter on the Musculoskeletal System or the Cardiovascular System. Well, I can't. I have to pick through the cards to find the ones associated with each system of the body. Once I separate them into topics, they'll be fine, I guess. But I didn't expect to have to pick through and sort 1,000 cards.

A suggestion would be to give medical examples when prefixes and suffixes are used. E.g., -itis and appendicitis

There’s a lot of cards to go through. They are thin and printed on a better quality printing paper but I expected that hence; there’s a lot to be confined neatly into a not-so-cumbersome, box. So far from what I used, they are not full medical terminology words.

A very helpful product for anyone learning medical terminology in health care.
