I think that ieGeek 2K Security Camera is great. The directions came with easy to follow, step by step instructions that were successful. Mounting is simple also with precise and strong positioning of the camera. It connects with your phone simply by scanning the QR code provided. The pictures is outstanding and you can choose black and white or color. You can choose the distance it covers, the recording time and record live videos. Storage is included and I use the free subscription. There are more choices depending on your preference and needs. The movement captures a video but in live view, I can see all the way across the street from my porch. This purchase has been all around positive and if I go to add more camera's I will be sticking with ieGeek!

Failed after a couple months. Setup was easy as any other camera. Before it failed, I liked it a lot. Great picture, lots of features/settings. Like several of my battery cameras, I had this one connected to a little solar panel, so I would not have to pull it down to charge it periodically. Camera is meant for outdoor use, but even then, it was located under the panel, so the panel acted as a little roof for added rain protection. I was not able to return it to Amazon because it'd been a few months.UPDATE: the seller ultimately contacted me and offered a free replacement and made this right. I have added some stars due to the good customer service.Also, to address some of the things from people who left one-star reviews: First, battery cameras do not offer 24/7 recording and never say they do, the battery simply can't handle it, even with a solar panel the battery would die overnight. Also, you CAN use this without any online service; with an SD card you can record and playback on the app; but the app does nag you to upgrade to a paid online service. Yes, the motion sensor can be a little slow to start recording, but the camera is about $25. No, it does not connect to 5g network; as with many cameras of this type, it can only connect to 2.4g; and they are clear about that. If your battery runs down quickly, it's because the device is sensing too much motion (presumably when there is none) and needs to have the sensitivity dialed back. The battery when fully charged should last more than a month in normal conditions.

I haven't had these long, but they were really easy to setup and install. I bought extra SD cards for these cameras and setup the system that way instead of having to subscribe to a cloud service for each of these cameras which would have been a substantial cost. The SD cards work great. You can download images and videos that it has captured.It covers quite a bit of area, and the color nighttime videos are really pretty crisp and clean. We live in the woods and have had little raccoon raiders on our porch and now we have evidence. We also captured one individual who was at our back door at 1:30 in the morning and the camera light came on and he left. We later discovered it was someone looking for a VRBO not far from us after seeing the images from the camera and then seeing the same individual at the VRBO not far from us. Anyway, it has provided a sense of security, and we have no complaints so far. Overall, I would recommend depending on what your need is. They are inexpensive cameras, provide good quality video and still shots and cover a pretty good area.

I got this camera for my patio on January 2026. Very easy to set up and the quality of images was great. It also has a flash light at night once t senses motion. In August, the camera ran out of battery and died. I tried to charge it but it did not work. I contacted the company's help desk and their communication was almost immediate, and after a few troubleshooting attempts, they decided to send me a new one to replace the older one. I really appreciated their promptness and professionalism. I highly recommend this camera.

I got this camera for my side entrance of my house, someone keeps messing with my car at night. The picture is very clear I like that, I have a bluerams camera in my front window and this one on my side. One thing I don’t like about this one is you can’t move itaround. Like when it sees someone it does not follow the motion and watch it just alerts a motion and takes a pic. Also u can’t rewind threw out the day and see what’s went on uless u have a sd chip in it. My blurams one i can replay all day see who came and went . Also u do have to change this camera which sucks but I can say the battery does last about 3 weeks on low mode. That’s good. It is water proof and snow proof .. I was trying to be nosey and listen to the people outside off the mic but u can’t hear .. just the birds chirping, but for motion detection right at that moment I like the light that comes on.***Ok after months of use ****I wouldn’t recommend. I would recommend the blurams camera. Not this one. They did send me a sd card for free but it’s still not like the blurams one, I can go there my whole camera feed from all day or night and in this camera it only catches images. So it take a pic of what came in your yard etc. or a slight video of about 3/5 seconds that’s it. Even with card in it, I like to wake up and scroll through my camera feed and see what went on last night. With my blurams camera I can do just that but with this iegeek I can not. I even bought the $4.00 thingy a month and I won’t again it’s really for not much. ***3 moths after use… heck no. A bear got in my trash and what do u know I have it pointing at my trashcan I have the sd card in also I pay the 3.99 a month so I can have storage and rewind see what happens, nope I can’t even see what knocked my trashcan over I hate this camera I’m getting another BLURAMS. Camera I can rewind and see the whole day, without a sd card. This iegeek can is a joke it only has clear picture

I needed to replace my indoor camera because the one I was currently using was on its last legs. It kept shutting down and restarting. It probably needed an update but because everything else electronic in my home crapped out me on the same day (I'm not even kidding) I didn't want to fight with it. The hunt was on for a new gadget. Apparently there isn't a "Pan and Tilt" indoor camera that does not need to be plugged in for power. Trust me, I searched! Then I got to thinking I didn't need the pan and tilt feature if I could find a camera with a wide view range. That narrowed it down a bit. I also didn't want to have to donate both my legs, and an arm and a kidney. I am not my brother that has to have top of the line, better than best TOY. All I needed was a camera with the ability (as seen in my photo) to catch my dogs (she's in the lower right and she's black and white) behaving as they should be.All that being said, this camera is excellent. It's actually an outdoor camera but it does what I need it to do inside. The picture quality is awesome. I can zoom in and I can talk to my dogs if I need to. It requires an SD card or you can sign up for their cloud service. The set up was super easy and fairly quick. I procrastinated getting it set up for a day I would be home and had time to do it. If I knew it was only going to take me 10 minutes tops I would have done right when I got it.The battery is rechargeable and I'm sorry I don't think it's removable so you could pull it out and put it on a charger. I have this camera placed where the old one was and it's right above an outlet so when the camera gives me the signal it's about dead I can just plug it in still on its mount.The long of it is: quick and easy set up, rechargeable, excellent picture quality, wide view range AND customer service is pretty great as well. I registered it to get the extended warranty and they emailed me right back within a day or two.I recommend this device A+++

I am loving my camera it’s completely wireless and an easy set up process. I can view live being away from home and the alerts are pretty quick once somebody or something is detected. I am in no way a tech pro as I even struggle with simple things but this camera was so easy to set up following the details in the handbook and on screen in the app. So far I have not had to charge it and I’m going into my second week and it’s no where near low on battery. It is easy to mount just putting 3 screws through the bracket and then screwing on the camera to the bolt and the round disc that will be underneath gets unscrewed to the tightness it should be to hold the camera stable . You can aim the camera in many directions and it’s waterproof. I liked that it comes with free cloud space but it does offer additional plans if you need to upgrade your plan but it accepts a sims card and has such a great picture. The picture in the day and night both are sharp and clear . No fuzzy or pixelated here. I am a female who recently moved In alone and this gives me a piece of mind to keep an eye outside and alert me when someone is here. I also have further up the driveway like 100 feet a door bell type alarm for when the barrier is passed the doorbell in the house rings alerting me something or someone has just entered my driveway. So with this awareness I can be prepared for kids or coons either way I love the two working hand in hand and adding this camera just plane makes sense. I’m going to get another one for my daughter. Don’t hesitate. I searched in great detail reading reviews and looking at specs and this was the right decision for me.

Very simple to setup and to connect,great picture quality.You’ll be surprised to see what lurks around your property at night!Software is excellent also,very tweakable,all in all very pleased with the product.

Works well in the beginning but after 1 month of use. It suddenly stopped working . Suspecting that it needs charging I open up the “sealed” rubber cover but when I shake the device, dirty water starts coming out from it and it does not work now.

This is a great security camera. The image is good not sure if it’s 2k quality but definitely good. What makes this excellent is the IE geek app. It’s easy to use and has all the settings and controls you need to customize to your needs. Definitely would recommend.
