I like to keep my beard a little longer would like to use the 12mm guard with the facial blade.** A: Hi! No. The hair guard 15/32 in. (12 mm) does not fit the full-size trimmer head. **Q: How much time does it take to fully charge?** A: I let mine charge overnight. Great battery life and no issue using while wet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Upgrade *by V***N on April 16, 2026* I was using an old Braun multigroom trimmer for years which finally failed to charge the battery—which was not lithium. I could have used the Braun as a corded trimmer, but thought I would give the Philips Norelco Multigtoom 5000 with a lithium battery a try instead. It was like night and day. This trimmer has everything I could ever need with a very long lasting battery between charges. The trimmer heads are excellent and easy to swap out. The groomer can be used in the shower. My only complaint is the on/off button is located on the back of the handle almost exactly where I like to hold the groomer. This results in my turning it off unintentionally.
