Great bit of kit and works with my midi temperamental boss es-8. Easy to use and connects to both a windows and MacBook without and extra drivers

Wanted to get a reasonably priced midi cable that will just work with my Yamaha DX7 original Mark 1 synth from 1983, without me struggling with settings and configs etc. I attempted a cheap silver cable with an oval unit which just would't work. I got this cable albeit significantly of more cost, to check if this was any good. I didn't bother with any firmware upgrade before using it straight out of its pack. It worked straight away and the plug colour coding helps a lot. Connect Black plug to MIDI IN and White plug to MIDI OUT and the USB to your computer and load up the MIDI Software. I used MIDI-OX on Windows 11 which seems to work well with this cable, remember to select this cable name for both MIDI In and Out device. For DX7 the SysEx (System Exclusive) file transfers were very quick and the DX7 confirmed as "MIDI RECEIVED!" in less than 6 Seconds. You need to unprotect the Internal Memory and set the MIDI Availability in DX7 to 'Available' before tranfering the files. Very happy with the product and highly recommend.

Plug and play right out of the box A solid cable at a good price! Wasn't expecting it to transmit other important signals such as key velocity / (touch response) but it handles everything like a champ. Small input delay but I believe this keyboard I'm using (PSR 290) has that delay anyway due to its age, nothing too noticeable and I don't have the means to measure or prove where it is coming from... Used with and compatible with cubase 8.5 pro on Windows 10 via usb

Bought to use with a Virus TI2 Desktop and the Aura plugin (which is insanely good). Yup, it does the job very nicely!

I'm currently designing a MIDI project and was having issues with my cheap USB MIDI cable so I thought that I'd give this a try. My old cable works, but would only pass the first 3 bytes of most SysEx message, and on longer ones it would cut out the middle. This CME U2 MIDI Pro cable works very well and passes full SysEx messages without any problems. It's also very solid sending dense MIDI streams without dropping any information. The cable seems to be built quite well for the $23 I paid for it and I'm very pleased with the its quality. It has good ends and the USB part seems solid enough. The cables are quite flexible, however they're not overly thick, but considering that only two to three conductors are used for MIDI it's still quite sufficient. The plugs are labeled as well as being different colours to identify easier. The in and out cable are joined up until the last few inches of the cable, but can be split apart if needed. The USB end has a green LED that comes on when the interface is initialized and blinks off when MIDI data is transferred. It's fairly bright, but not blinding. Although a piece of electrical tape would nicely hide it if you wanted. I didn't need any drivers as Windows (11) recognized this without issue. It comes with some documentation and there's software / updates from the manufacturer's website, but I haven't gone there yet and I will update this if there's anything important or of note. Overall I'm very pleased with the the performance and value of this USB to MIDI cable and would have no problem recommending it. 5 stars.

excellent produit , le Mac reconnait instantanément mon matériel MIDI. J'ai failli la renvoyer, car le port USB-C tombait et le câble ne fonctionnait pas, jusqu'à coque je l'enfonce plus fort.... en fait il se "clipse" dans le port , je n'avais jamais vu ça, mais c'est une excellente sécurité de connexion. Je recommande, (à voir dans la duré ,bien-sûr, mais la qualité inspire confiance). Je ne connaissait pas cette marque, et à présent je regarderait de ce côté si j'ai besoin d'autres produits MIDI.
