Can the 3.5mm headphone jack be used as output for Garageband if the usb port is in use?

That's how I've used it. I plug a Akai MPK Mini into the USB with the headphone jack used to send sound to external speakers

I don't know about the 6s. I was disappointing in that I did not allow me to see videos that were on my thumb drive.

I don’t know, but the best way to move everything to a new iPhone, would be to make a backup to a Mac or Windows using iTunes and then restore the new iPhone from that backup. This will transfer everything.
