Makita 9403/2 240V 100mm Belt Sander

Great tool. Very powerful, great dust bag with little dust comes out during the process. Extremely easy to handle, install the sandpaper and adjust it. I’ve worked with it non stop for 8h in 3 days. Very happy with the result. It was a bit above my budget specially as I am not a professional and I just doing my deck for once, but I am glad to spend that money. Of course for something like my job you have to combine this with other sanders like a Detail Sander to do hard to reach areas.

What a great piece of kit! I used it during the construction of a large oak table and really put it through its paces and it never missed a beat. Fairly quiet for this type of equipment, has a really good solid feel to it and the dust extraction bag also worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.

using it in the workshop . A top quality sander for professional use . love the wide bed for flattening larger areas . very happy .

Obviously came from Europe as it had a 2 pin plug on it which I had to change. No case either.

What a great belt sander, best in the business. Undertakes sanding to a different level, amateur or professional use. Have used it to sand flooring and it makes the job so easy without the need to hire professional equipment or having professionals employed.

Solid build quality

je viens de faire un petit test sur du bois dure et résine époxy,elle enlève très facilement et proprement avec l'abrasif livré et monté,c'est d'ailleurs le seul,celui-ci est très bien,ne saute pas au niveau du raccord,la ponceuse est lourde et elle ne bouge pas,rien à régler à part l'allignement de l'abrasif,très bonne ponceuse ,

Muy práctico, muy pesado pero muy eficiente

This sander is great for fast removal of material on horizontal surfaces. Large surface means greater contact with material. I use it for flattening of live edge slabs and table tops. Due to its weight, it can not be used for extended periods on vertical surfaces. Very durable and heavy duty machine!!!! I would recommend this sander for anyone who does heavy duty work such as floor stripping and quick flattening. The only negative comment is that it does not have variable speed. Dust collection is also great.

After another sander failed I took the plunge and got this Makita and I must say it's not the cheapest 4 inch belt sander but is worth every cent just the weight does the job no pressure it's powerful and can remove vast amounts of wood if careful, well made heavy and recommend
