A+++ great gate spring with adjustable tension. But know that the spring does not stretch. Not intended to. It goes on the opposite side of the gate like it would be compressing it. Easy to mount and easy to adjust the tension. I have bought and are in use 4 of them.

The mount screws provided are a bit on the small side, but after I replaced them, it seemed to be pretty solid. It applies quite a bit of force, and I ended up replacing the latch with a very robust assembly because the old latch couldn't take the impact and there's no damping- it slams the gate with every use. Does the job though- that gate now stays closed when I used to find it open often enough to let local dogs wander into my back yard.

Works great, just as promised by seller. Looks like a great quality product. Better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this product 100% plus. Very happy with my purchase and well worth the money 💰.

Note, we did return these and get our money back, BUT I wanted to leave a review if you wanted to just give them a chance, DON'T!! My husband used these on front gate doors and they don't work. They stretched out with the first use and then didn't spring back, he removed them soon after installation. It is sad when you want to give an unknown a try and they don't work. On the other hand, I am glad to provide to the underdogs, but when they don't work, I will let you know too. Don't get these, go for something much heavier duty to do the job. Don't go cheap.

It works ok. Holds the gate shut, but not strong enough to get it to engage in the latch unfortunately.

bought to automatically close the back door when the dog comes inside. since it does not close completely, she is able to open the door with her paw and go out whenever she wants. spring closes the door when she returns. very convenient for both of us.

This closes our door well and the cat cant open it!

Seems ok. Not heavy duty, setting tension is a bit dangerous, the detents in the collar are quite shallow and the tension tool fit is sloppy. We shall see how long they last.

So far they’re working. Haven’t used for long. The included screws are garbage. Use your own. The return when the gate isn’t opened much isn’t that great but could be my placement. Followed instructions though. All in all I’m good on four stars overall for price paid Vs alternatives. I’d give 5 stars if the included screws were of decent quality and not drywall screw level.
