A Great Case, enough to replace 2 cases.
I have had this protector as I feel it is was necessary to get it for my iPhone 8 plus. Being a recent convert from a Samsung Galaxy 5, I could no longer feel comfortable being responsibly gentle with an even larger and significantly heavier phone, so I looked for a case that wasn't too bulky, but also something that offered some protection. My first case was the Pursuit, but I felt it was too big, and the cover switch for the ringer did not work properly, so I returned it. After much research, and nearly buying a silicon case with fuzzy lining, I chose this. I went back to it because it was American made, which I felt meant it may have went through a strict quality control process, and I liked the feel of the pursuit case, despite the non-functioning ringer cover switch. I am happy with this purchase, and for the face of the phone that is not covered, I feel this product works well if you have a separate glass face protector. I am usually a bigger fan of single piece protectors, but not in the instance of a case where a touch screen is involved. I am also happy that this case was not as bulky as I expected, as I had planned to get a slimmer case for formal events. To me, this provides excellent protection without being bulky. This unit went on over my phone a little tight at first, as it was activating some of the side volume buttons as it was being fitted over my iPhone 8 Plus. But once on, it felt very snug. I like that the case feels nice with semi-grippy rubber around the side, but rigid and hard along the surfaces on the back at the same time. I guess I'm a tactile sort of person because besides liking the feel of this case in hand, I have no problems placing my phone down on hard concrete (which I would be nervous about doing with iPhones bare glass exterior) and enjoy that the phone feels protected in my front (yes, front) pocket as well, from shifting and or bending. An important feature to me is that the camera 'bump' is aligned in a fitted hole that gives it and the flash an ample opening and provides what feels to be a quarter's thickness to keep the bump from touching a surface if the case is placed camera-side down. The bottom cut-outs for the lightning cable and bottom speakers holes seem perfectly aligned for me, and the side buttons for the power and the volume controls are pleasantly stiff, which are find for me since I do not use them much and value the protection they provide for the little-used buttons. I also like that the ringer on/off switch is a simple cut-out rather than an attempted addition side button. I feel that this switch is, by design, something to correctly cover and have another working switch over it, as the Pursuit attempted to do. I highly recommend this case and I think it is an excellent value on Amazon at $28 at the time of purchase. I would be willing to bet it's nearly twice as much if you buy it at your local cell phone provider. Thank you for reading and I hope this review helps you.

Doing an Otter happy dance (Love this case!)
I had chosen the OtterBox Symmetry for my iPhone 6, which I've recently upgraded to iPhone 7 Plus. With the 6 (smaller and also thin) I'd read all the reviews, and almost got a Speck because of its fans and the expressed concerns about grip. But I gave it a try (the Symmetry) and have been a *very* happy camper ever since. Great case - just sent the iPhone 6 back in mint condition (surviving a drop or two in its day but still like new) as a trade-in for the new one and immediately ordered this case. Again, I'm a very happy camper, maybe even more so. The 7 Plus is quite a bit larger in length and width in terms of holding and putting in or pulling out from a pocket. I love the screen size but was concerned that with a case it would grow too big to easily carry or pocket. As someone likes to say, "wrong!". In fact this case is ideal, as it maintains a very slim width, similar to the 6 case, though of course it's about an inch longer and a hair wider. Now, I must say that I agree with what I've read in a few reviews and seen in the OtterBox CS responses to questions/complaints. Specifically: This case is *perfect* for pocket use, neither resistant to being put in or pulled out of a pocket nor too slippery to hold securely. (I'd say, like Goldilocks, it's "just right".) Not an issue, at least for me, though maybe heavy sweaters or those working with oils, another story. Truly, great feel and great function in terms of protection for everyday use and occasional drops. (I never once scratched the screen with the 6 case, even without a glass protector.) Other relevant concerns I had, and I hear others mention: Construction: It's an Otter, which has many loyal fans, but in terms of the feel and make, it is definitely not "flimsy" and it fits snugly. In fact, I generally forget that it's in the case, since aside from the beveled edge around the screen, it seems like part of the phone, native. I also like this case as it is plain without brand-flashing, nondescript. But of course some like their flair and this same case has options for that. The power and volume buttons are, as some say, a bit stiff, or maybe need "breaking in", but not really a problem. No problem reaching/using the volume on/off toggle. There's only one jack now (no audio jack, just the one shared charging/connecting jack) and the case has the perfect sized cutout for that. The two vents for the stereo speakers look nice (if you look!) and might even be "ported" now - in any case the sound is good and the case doesn't deaden it in any way. Nor does the case interfere with the new camera lenses. Can't really think of anything else... The Symmetry is just about perfect, at least for me. It adds enough thickness and heft to make the phone feel like a brick without being as heavy as one (though I do feel the 6 v 7+ difference). It may seem to a cynic like just a strip or two of rubber, but it's really nicely designed and for non-extreme daily use I am sure I am going to be just as happy with this as I was with the Symmetry for iPhone 6. Others may like more padding or style or glass protection or whatever, but for me at least, this is the cat's meow, and I really enjoyed the ease of upgrading the case along with the phone, to another Symmetry. (Happy Otter sounds...)

Such a good case, its my second one
I bought my first one like this for $40 when I got my iPhone 7 Plus. It has a lifetime warranty and the company will send you a new one if it breaks. It never broke. I wore the edges of the plastic smooth and my phone kept slipping from my hand. I have dropped my phone countless times; COUNTLESS!!!!! and my phone never broke. I did need to replace the military grade glass screen protector from my last drop. Thats when I decided to get another case so it had grip texture mine had lost from consent use. I just bough he black one and it was exactly like the one I bought from the store!! Packaging and all. I like the slim design and the fact it has protected my phone so well. I us eta never drop things but with a neck surgery to regain the use of my arms. I lost strength that gets weak at times. It is such a relief my phone has survived so many drops!! On very hard surfaces. Worth the buy if you hate bulky covers. I highly advise buying the military grade glass screen protectors. I have used the warranty a few times to get another replacement. With this case. I don't advise dropping your phone but with case and screen protector. You will be glad you got them if that day comes. For me its way too often.

Durable phone case
I’ve had this case for 7 years and it finally broke beyond repair. It’s on a phone I don’t use as a phone anymore but instead a device I use to record video content and play a couple of games on. I spilled acetone on it a few years ago so I ordered another one, but when that one eventually broke down I just painted this one with nail polish (I tried to hide the acetone damage) and kept using it. Now the soft rubbery edge is separating from the hard plastic. I’ve seen this before and tried to glue the edges back together, but it doesn’t work for long. That’s okay though. I’m happy it lasted for 7ish years of near daily use and an acetone spill.

Nice!
I think it's pretty good, but I won't know for sure until I drop my phone a few times. It fit good and looks nice.

good protection, but with that comes function over form
After cracking my screen, I decided to invest in a case to protect my iPhone 7+. This case has been great and does exactly as you would expect it to, however it definitely puts function over form. Pros: Good protection, I've dropped my phone many times and it isn't damaged at all The case doesn't look cheap, like some other low cost options There's enough of a lip on the front/back to protect your screen/camera, which I appreciate The buttons are covered in rubber rather than hard plastic, which makes them easier to press, and also would seem to increase the longevity of taking the phone in and out of the case (if you are like me and do that somewhat often. Cons: It looks sleek enough, but in my opinion it still has a bit of the otterbox clunkiness to it. It's definitely a lot thinner than other otterbox cases I've used, but if you are looking for one of those razor thin cases, this is probably not the case for you. I will say also that the back has an okay grip to it, but it's honestly not amazing in comparison to like a speck candygrip or equivalent.

Looks Great…Fits Perfectly
This is a terrific case. Fits the iPhone perfectly. It’s also easy to charge when placed on an exterior charging station or disk like the Apple MagSafe charger. This is a great deal worth more than the cost.

It is a solid rugged case but I wish it has a plastic front cover as well but I guess I can't get it all.

Buena calidad y sencillez
