Sturdy
Didn't want to pay the fee at the garage to get the springs changed on the car so brought them and this tool and did it ourselves and saved £££ they were easy to fix to the spring and compress and decompress, we got our moneys worth we even lent these to our neighbor to do the springs on his car. With the amount of potholes on the roads these days these are definitely worth keeping hold of

SPRING COMPRESSOR CLAMP
GREAT ITEM THEY LOOK AND FEEL WELL MADE AND ARE HEAVY I DID NOT NEED TO USE THEM AS MY SPRINGS WENT IN WITHOUT THE USE OF THEM, SO I CANT COMMENT ON HOW THEY WORK.POSTAGE WAS FAST SO I WOULD BUY FROM HERE AGAIN

Read on here some people where having trouble with this Spring Compressor (Hands/Fingers getting traped e.t.c). This tool is Ok and does the Job when used by and Experienced and professional Mechanic. In my opinion, it is not really a tool for the DIY Enthusiast.

spring clamps
just the job , needed for peugeot 307 rear spring replacement , no bother at all,did the job easily and with fast delivery got the job done quickly. great buy at this price. great stuff..

Unsafe and not fit for purpose
Compressing springs is a potentially dangerous task which should only be carried out with the correct knowledge, skills and equipment.As an experienced mechanic, having bought these to do a quick spring change, I applied them to each side of the spring and compressed equally and slowly. Despite taking every possible precaution, including stabilising the compressor shafts at all times, the hooks kept sliding round the spring until eventually one of the spring hooks slipped off the hook completely, causing the (compressed) spring to fly up into the air - thankfully away from my face.In short, these compressors are not fit for purpose. The hooks are inadequate for retaining safe contact with the spring. The usual advice is use at your own risk, but I would suggest that you do not buy these items at all. You are likely live to regret it. I have since learnt my lesson and bought a double hooked set.

Non sembra di grande qualità (gli agganci) ma ha svolto il suo lavoro...le rondelle sono da sostituire e conviene lubrificare bene prima e durante l uso per evitare stress eccessivi ai filetti

Prodotto di scarsa qualità. Quello che mi è arrivato era inutilizzabile avendo un solo aggancio filettato e gli altri tre passanti.
