These cameras replaced my others that I believe were struck by lightning, EsseCloud is the only app I will ever use again for security cameras, they both only took minimal time to set up on the app. Great picture and reasonably priced. I pleased with the performance so far.

These work better than my Blink cameras! Definitely would buy again only $15 a camera and no subscription needed. Read instructions carefully there is an app that you need to pay for but there is a free one as well. The camera quality is really good and clear. The camera even alerts if a bug passes by the lens. Super great quality! Night vision is awesome but I do wish the porch light part was brighter.

I just installed this camera 2 days ago. It was super easy to install- except I had to buy a new Light fixture on my deck where this was to be installed. The present fixture/lantern socket faced upwards- camera was too tall to fit in the housing with top on-plus rain would get in. Amazon solved that with a new light fixture- facing down with long glass to not obstruct camera. When installed camera tacked well- picture looked great. However, at night when checked- camera was facing my wall- most the time- & if not wall the pic looked very dark & cloudy. Q#1> How to fix this issue???--Why did camera turn backwards? Also I was offered a 30 day free trail of "Cloud" it directed me to download the app for camera called "EseeCloud" app. AND I bought a SD card - b/c in 30 days I KNOW I will NOT want to continue with this CLOUD service- Q#2> so what happens to this app? Is it independent of the Cloud paid service? Q#3> if app is only connected to Cloud service- what will I do for an app to connect to this camera??? These are the most pressing questions right now. I would like to get answers directly from seller. Overall, impressed with the camera- very reasonably priced & super easy to install. Just need further help with app. I've already recommended to several neighbors!

Make sure that you order the right one for your purposes and porch light socket. I got a single camera for my front porch light because my back porch light wouldn’t work. There’s a lot of traffic and squirrels and people walking their dogs so it would be constantly recording the artifacts that I don’t need to worry about. Just having the security camera there would help to deter criminals but it would not give me peace of mind like it does out front. A security light would be better for my back door. The camera has so many amazing options that I could easily write a novella. The camera has SD and HD options so you can see details better and use more memory space or less graphics, but still good, and use less memory. A SD card fits easily in the slot on the camera but I decided to use the cloud storage. It’s half off if you get a year’s subscription. Very worthwhile. Installing was easy. I followed the prompts on the app and within minutes I was able to see my whole front yard and directly below it. There’s a microphone and speaker that works beautifully. I can talk to whomever is at my door and hear them clearly. I can hear birds chirping and even see a squirrel that ran through very clearly. I can rotate the camera and listen even while I was across town sitting in a restaurant. There’s a siren feature but I haven’t tried it yet because I’m in an apartment and don’t want to scare my neighbors. Although, if I were incapable of getting to the door and I saw a crime in progress I’d definitely hit that button on the screen. I have an old iPhone 8 with a small screen and it still shows up nicely. You can turn the phone sideways to utilize full screen mode. I’m giving it 5 stars because I did my research for the right tool for me and it works perfectly. Don’t leave the item or seller short on stars because you didn’t choose wisely. I’m enjoying peace of mind for the first time since moving into this apartment. Porch pirates are viral and getting worse every year especially around the winter holidays. I’m a disabled veteran and do the majority of my shopping online. Amazon has saved me so much stress because they do the work to bring the store to me. It’s my responsibility to shop wisely. Enjoy this purchase after you have made sure it will fit your needs. *****

Bought 2 - One didn't last very long. I really these cameras too. The camera only looks up and down but not horizontally. It really saddens me... Imagine buying something that you think is yours, but it is still full of Ads? There is no way to get rid of them. Now imagine owning this camera and trying to quickly see who is on your porch, but you can't do that. You have to close out Ads to get there. And when you finally do, the person is gone! You now have to try and look through history. It is an Absolute pain. Do not get this camera! I had to update this review and bring the rating down to 1 star. They now updated the camera to make it extremely difficult to get to camera view right away! They are now pushing you to upgrade to their cloud. I DON'T WANT IT! And there is no way to disable the advertisement. I thought the camera was mine when I bought it, but it is now being held hostage unless I pay the ransom! I tried telling them about it and they do not respond. DO NOT BUY! Here is the scenario. Someone just came to your front door. So you grab your phone and access the camera app to "quickly" see who it is. An AD pops up on your screen begging you to purchase cloud storage before you get there. By the time you get rid of the AD and get to the screen where you need to go, the person has already gone. Now you need to check the cumbersome history area. Did you know you can talk to the person at the door using the mic function? Well, that was rendered useless. You just don't feel like you own or have full control of the camera. Take heed... Now they added Google Ads. Enough is ENOUGH! They need to have a setting in the device's software to turn these Ads off considering you own the product! Unless you love being bombarded by Ads on a device that you "own" and there is no way to turn them off, DO NOT BUY! Be fair warned!

Very easy to set up and works great

Finally installed and it picks up everything and I mean everything. A bug that flies too close at night, a spot of water on my concrete porch and all the stray cats. But I will not use the AI notification service because it detects absolutely EVERYTHING as a person detected. Only person that has ever beeb detected is me when I grab my mail or come home thru this entrance. But it notified me a person was detected 5x on the same spot of water after it rained. Picture is always very clear, it works at night super well also, I can hear myself on it si in this aspect it serves almist like a doorbell cam as well so love the camera. Just their AI notification they claim is so accurate is where it falls short.

Ok so I had to add to my comment. I have had this just a month. It worked perfectly before & it had no issue pairing with my wifi from my garage, but it stopped working Tue 11/22/23. Have no idea what happened. It did rain which is what I’m guessing happened altho its rained before and been fine. I couldn’t reset it or do anything it completely stopped working. I had a back up with a 2 pack yet for some reason these wont link to my wifi even tho it’s the exact same camera. So i cannot use it which sucks. So it worked well for 30 days. Back to the drawing board. My brother purchased this for me because I got my car stolen 2 weeks ago from my house. Mine was 1 of 4 that weekend. This camera was super easy to set up & it was quick. It gives a really clear video even at night. I really like it & it helps to make me a little less anxious. Only downside is I had to purchase the storage to replay videos as my iPhone doesn’t have an sd slot for a memory card.

I do not recommend this camera. The camera itself powers on and appears to function, but the companion app is unreliable and does not work properly. As most of the camera's features depend on the app, the product is effectively unusable. I spent considerable time trying to connect and use the app without success. Without a functioning app, I am unable to access the features that were a key reason for purchasing the camera. Overall, this has been a disappointing experience. I will be returning the camera and looking elsewhere for a more reliable product.

Never Buy. Its software Yi iot is full of Ads. Cam was working for a month after that always hung. Waste. Donot buy.

Build is not that good. And the camera software and app is not that advanced. They say you grt for what you pay for. Returned it.

I thort it connected easy with Alexa n didn't n also doesn't see as much as I would hoped
