fit as expected - Easy install with some paint stir sticks to spread the spring long enough to install. Here is how. 1. Buy paint stir sticks Pro Project Supplys Pro-Grade 12 Paint Stir Sticks 30 Pack. Splinter-Free, Sanded Wood Mixer is Great For Mixing Gallon Pails of Glue, Epoxy & Body Filler. Bulk Painting Stirrer, Accessory & Tool 2. Cut the stir sticks in 1/2 or thirds 3. bend the spring and insert paint sticks in the gaps (alternate sides so the spring stays straight) 4. See picture where sticks are in and lengthen the spring enough to install while leveling jack is retracted 5. hook up the spring to the jack and the base plate (make sure the base plate is centered and aligned correctly with the bottom of the lift) 6. extend the leveling jack (the sticks will mostly fall out now). 7. remove the sticks and retract - you are done !!

overall good quality but very difficult to install, not their problem but it would be nice to include a set of instructions on installation or tools necessary etc.

Originals broke after 9 years, these replacements work fine. Retracts the gear as it's supposed to, same speed and tension. Dealer is easier to deal/order than HWH. Fast delivery, arrived before delivery date.

The springs are tappered and stronger. Putting them in is not bad once you read instruction on HWH. I bent them over and about 20 nails in 10 on each side so it was straight and made longer. You must also have a Jack to lift each side at a time. Great item but watch your fingers. No instructions included with springs.

These were a perfect replacement for my Allegro motor home jack springs! It took some effort to install them, but by stretching them with a "come-along" between 2 fence posts and then inserting wood shims, I made the springs stretch to the desired length for easy installation. Then it was just a matter of extending the jacks and and the wood shims just fell out!

Pretty simple to use, spread apart, put about 15 shims @ "1/4, go under there and connect it through the holes and whala!... I just order 3 more sets to finish, before one of the older ones break, now that it broke to begin with...shims cant be sticking out much past the spring so its easy to handle under there...

springs work as expected... not that hard to put on at all... make sure you get the right spring for your application, however, there are many sizes
