It's a cheap, chuck away tar brush... And that's all a good thing
I bought three of these brushes to brush on some waterproof bitumen paint to decking posts and framework timbers (6x2), and they worked a treat, and for the cost, I just chucked them after each application. Even though the brush is bulky, and the bristles are thick... They painted it on great, handle is nice and long so your hand has plenty of room between it and the paint. Yes, there was a bit of bristle loss, but not bad if you ask me, and it calmed down as you used it... Why people are whinging about it has me baffled... It's a cheap brush, it's designed to apply sticky stuff, most solvent based, of course it's going to lose a few bristles... I mean, even "Lossless" more expensive brushes that are designed to put on emulsion lose bristles... Expensive roller heads lose some of the pile... So it beggers believe what they are painting to warrant such whining really... Are people out there painting bitumen paint or using these on their skirting boards or something? It's a tar brush, a cheap one... And pound for pound, a pretty good one if you ask me!!!

Better than a traditional paint brush
My shed has appreciated the work of this brush. Short but long enough to enable reaching a distance at arm length.
