This light is just what we needed for our two person podcast setup. I know a lot of videos recommend you need multiple of this style light but this was perfect for us. The adjustable setting really lets you find the perfect sweet spot and it is super easy to move around, raise or lower, and pack up if I need to. Great price for what good quality

UPDATE (7/12/24) I was able to connect with customer service. Unfortunately, their response was delayed due to illness. Once we connected, they were very quick to help me replace the defective light. I'm very happy with their attentiveness and commitment to resolving the issue. *********************************************** I initially loved the GVM SD80D that I purchased. The quality of light it provided and its features were excellent, and it perfectly met my needs. However, after just about 6 months, the light stopped working entirely. Now, I have a light that does not work, and it has been incredibly frustrating. I've tried contacting GVM multiple times through both phone and email to resolve the issue or replace the unit, but I have not received any response. The lack of customer service and support is very disappointing. If this issue does not get resolved soon, I will never buy another GVM product again. For the price I paid and all of the online reviews, I expected better quality and support. This experience has been very disappointing.

I was new to lighting and found that this kit offers everything I need. The light quality is good, and connecting to the app was straightforward—the interface looks user-friendly. Other than a slightly challenging softbox setup, everything worked as expected, which is impressive at this price. On the downside, the kit feels rather low-quality, making me worry that parts could come off at any moment. There's noticeable light leaking from between the folds of the softbox. Additionally, when attaching the battery, the handle I use to adjust the light's direction might become unusable—it won’t rotate with the battery attached. Overall, it does the job for now, but I'm not entirely sure about its long-term durability.

Great and very good quality for this product! Compares to other more expensive brands and it performs an excellent job! I will buy it again and recommend for others to buy!

The light itself is great, but no one mentioned the whine from the fan. The camera audio picks it up, it’s way too loud unless using a lapel mic at distance. Is there a way to turn it off? I don’t care if it burns up, just need camera audio to be clean.
