Very good game definitely worth the price

It’s a very well presented game. As a group of adults we had great fun with it. I highly recommend for a light heated game. Will bring to other small gatherings.

If you've seen the TV show "Catchphrase", you'll be very familiar with this card game. If you haven't, the game basically involves showing a cryptic pictoral clue to a common catchphrase. There's a card with a button printed on it, and first to hit the "button" wins the right to guess. So for a top-of my head, no-spoilers example, you might see a yellow hand spreading itself onto a slice of toast, and the catchphrase you'd need to guess would be "Butterfingers". Guess correctly and you get to have a guess a partially revealed picture that is increasingly revealed as questions are answered. It's a lot of fun and we took it camping this year and it was ideal. The scoring system is simple enough, though without the cash incentive of the TV show, the scoring is less relevant than the fun of guessing the catchphrase. The fly in the ointment is that once you've seen all the pictures and heard the catchphrase, you know all the answers, and the game turns into a game of reflexes, which can be fun in itself, but it's a different game. I want to give it more than three stars, because it's actually pretty fun, but buying a game that only plays at its best the first time you play it, is frustratingly disappointing.
