I just set this up yesterday. Did not even use directions. Just unplugged my old AT&T base and plugged the phone cord right into this Panasonic, plugged it in and was good to go. Plan on charging it up before unhooking your old phone if you need it. It needed to be charged before using, which is normal. Because the menu button was very similar to my previous phone, I didn't have to look at the directions to use that either. I also like that it has a smaller base station, as I have a small area on which I set it. It seems to work good, but I have not talked on it much since yesterday. So far, so good. I will revisit this review if anything changes as time goes on, when I have used it more. Good price for 3 cordless phones.

I’m really happy with this Panasonic cordless phone system! It comes with three handsets, which is perfect for keeping one in different rooms. The sound quality is clear, and the answering machine works great. I really like the advanced call block feature it helps stop unwanted calls, and the caller ID is a nice touch. The setup was simple, and everything worked right out of the box. Overall, it’s a reliable, easy-to-use, and well-designed phone system that’s perfect for home use. Highly recommend!

I was skeptical at first, but then read the reviews and the description and felt like it would be a good purchase; and it was. The reason I’m giving this product four stars, is for the instructional use. An instruction booklet comes with the phone, but it’s very difficult to understand and figure out and I feel I’m a pretty adequate person to do those things, but the phone is more complicated than it looks. The booklet is very helpful but some things just don’t click with trying to set up different things on the phone. If you want simple, it is not simple to understand, but you can make it simple just by not following all the directions and not setting up certain things and just using it to answer. The Call blocking feature is nice and that I was able to figure out.

Bought these to replace our old Panasonic phones. Easy to use and setup. Good quality, also. But the very best option is the Scam Blocker. Once you turn it on, no more robo calls!! This option alone is worth paying more for. I can't say how highly I recommend this phone!!

This phone can do anything. I love being able to block a spam call by just pushing a button, and turning off the ringer is nice too. I did need to set it up with the instruction book in hand, but it is well written, so with a little work, you can add the programs you want without much trouble. It will run on the battery for days without needing to be placed back in the charger.

I read many of the 5 star reviews and wondered if this phone could be this good: Amazon Choice with over 7,000 reviews averaging 4.5 stars. After receiving this product I now know why this phone system is so popular: it does everything it is suppose to do with ease, and a very intuitive menu, and excellent documentation. This product is simply the best home phone system you can buy. Also I find that the phone when paired with Brightspeed home phone service can detect a message left on the Brightspeed account and display an alert on the phone's display. I know you will love this product as much as I do. Seldom is a company able to design a product at an excellent price which works effortlessly out of the box. I have had Panasonic phones for years. The early ones lasted for even 10 years or so. Gradually, as landline phones are less prevalent, the quality "seems to be going downhill." I wrote support and they seemed to care in the beginning and then simply stopped communicating with me. My old Panasonic phones I had just for a year, began to not ring sometimes when the phone was by me. Sometimes people could suddenly not hear me and I had to hang up and call back. Sometimes the phone would echo so much I could not understand the other person. So finally I ordered a new set. This set the battery would not last for a one hour call! If left sitting on a table with no calls it died in two days! Then the new phone did not ring too, and people could not hear me once in a while as well. I had the same problems as I did before combined with the poor battery life with this new set. So I returned them and hooked up my old set again! I also was disappointed I could not find one available to plug in my headset anymore. The wonderful flashing light on the top letting you know you had a message is gone. Also the thing you can snap on to hang in a pocket or something so you can be hands free.... is no longer available either. It is lighter than the previous model and not nearly as loud. I have tried AT& T and could not read their screen and people could not hear me. I tried another brand too and came back to Panasonic. Their sound is better, good buttons and screen. This phone KX-TGD832M the batteries were not good on either phone, the sound was softer and they also sometimes did not ring and echoed a lot when on speaker phone. I wish they still made a GREAT Model and I would certainly buy it. They Are better than three other brands I tried. However, this new set, had the same problems the one I was replacing had so I returned it!

Bought this as a gift and sent it to Mexico to my in laws! It works great! Sound quality is good, was easy to operate even for people not tech savvy. Display is big and bright enough to see clearly.

The person who prepared this has no idea that the item is not intended for Australian customers due to the fact that the voltage is 120 volts and not 220 volts. Be mindful of it next time
