I bought this single duvet for use in my spare room. It is warm and yet lightweight and really comfortable to sleep under. The duvet arrived tightly wrapped but was easy to get out of the packaging and quickly expanded out to a decent thickness. One important feature for me is that it is hypoallergenic, the filling being synthetic rather than feather. As I have a friend who has skin allergies, it’s important to me that when they stay over the bedding is as “safe” as I can make it. So using this in conjunction with a good quality cover achieves some peace of mind. For this reason, it’s also good that it’s machine washable. At 10.5 tog the duvet is warm (but not too warm!) most of the year round although my spare room does get a bit cold in winter so I sometimes add a throw over the top for additional comfort. As with other Silentnight products I’ve used, the quality is very good with the duvet being well made and even after washing, no clumping in the filling. Overall, I very much recommend this product.

This is a high-quality duvet that actually fits the "double" size perfectly. The hollowfibre filling is distributed evenly and doesn't clump together in the corners. Why I prefer 7.5 Tog: Breathability: It allows for much better airflow than the thicker 13.5 tog versions. Ease of Washing: Being a bit thinner, it actually fits in my home washing machine and dries much faster. All-Season: For me, this works perfectly for 90% of the year. On the very coldest nights, I just add a small throw on top. It's soft, hypoallergenic, and feels very premium for the price.

A duvet that isn't necessarily as heavy in weight as expected, but is however, lovely and warm, very soft, good quality and promotes a very comfortable nights kip - all good.

Bought this for mum and she loves it ! Very good quality. It is soft and comfortable to lie on (we have it underneath a fitted brushed cotton sheet). It was well priced and good value. There was no smell of chemicals despite the blanket being well padded with quality filling.

There is no smell. Easy to take out of packaging. Fit is as size depicts. Filling is super lightweight. Says it’s washable providing you have a machine big enough but would always take to a professional cleaner to have it properly sanitised. Provides a fabulously warm & super comfortable nights sleep. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very cosy duvet, warmer than I thought it was going to be but I get a great nights sleep with it. Probably too warm for summer use though. It'll get a lot of use during the cooler months. Feels nice and light, traps the heat well.
