These are 6 stackable trays that are the dimensions as stated with the product. 4 1/8 x 5 3/4 x 3"

Q: Would these be good for battery storage for various sizes AAA, AA, D, etc.?

I think these would work perfect for batteries. You can't really see it on the picture but there is a one inch lip in the front opening to hold thingsin. You may not be able to store more than 4*6 D size in one bin of this size. Hope that helps! :-)
