Q: My recently purchased scales are showing 'unst' or 'out2' error codes on the screen. does anyone know how to fix this? i've googled but no joy.

Had the same problem and after some research found out that if you have "out2' message hat means that your scale is out of equilibrium. If you turn them and look at the bottom, you'll see that one of the black little pads is missing. Luckily I miraculously found mine and the problem is fixed. Good luck to you all!

Q: What kind of battery does this uses?

1 x 3v CR2032, the little flat batteries like a 10p piece. V easy to buy at any supermarket, boots, online etc. Last a long time for me.

Q: How big is the display?

Fairly small but perfectly visible. In proportion to the scales.

Q: put the button battery in but showed nothing on the screen, and cannot take battery out

Firstly the letters need to be facing you when putting in. To take out slide the battery towards the words closed then lift it out with your nail. Hope this helps
