Blue 300w CFL Hydroponics Eco Grow Light

I am very pleased with this light. I'm growing winter lettuce in a greenhouse on a 1.5 x 3.75 table and the light is perfect for this area. It is a budget light and therefore good value for money.

Firstly, the bulb that turned up was 340w, not 300w. Not an issue for me, but worth noting. The bulb itself is OK quality. I have probably used it for 500+ hours and although it shows some signs of yellowing at the housing, it still works fine and no measurable drop in brightness. It runs quite hot as may be expected for a 340w bulb. The reflector is pretty flimsy, but works just fine. One issue though is that there is no support supplied for the bulb, so I had to use a large cable tie to hang the unsupported end from the vents in the top of the reflector. Without this, the bulb hangs at an angle and will no doubt cause damage to both the bulb and the fitting over time. All in all, good value kit.

Great light bright and gives of just enough heat. Plants love this light. Prefer it all day to LED Which it replaced.
