WWII, US Army GI set (Japan import), 1:48

Usual fantastic quality. Some people say they are not what is in the photo. They so are. They are scaled down pro model kits. Fantastic stuff

Bought these figures as something to do when I have some spare time. However the parts were alot smaller than I had originally thought. I have only had 1/48 experience with Tanks and Aeroplanes so the figure build was something new to me. My set had quite a bit of flash and mould lines around some parts requiring me to file them down but nothing too drastic. These problems vary between box to box so they cannot be taken as affecting the entire product. Overall the quality is top notch and is what we have all come to expect from Tamiya. However my preference would be to stick to the 1/35 figures as 1/48 jsut seemed a little too small for me. A-grade product

i am very annoyed by this product, i was really looking forward to giving this to my 8 year old son for xmas as i thought i was getting the soldiers showing in the picture not a load of plastic crap xx

Very dissapointed when i opened this toy, as was my 10 year old brother!! The image displayed is cleraly not what is in the box! :(

When I knew that Tamiya were going to produce a 1/48 range of figures I suspected that they would scale down their 1/35 figures... and that's what they've done. That's not a complaint... I'm impressed that they have managed to retain a lot of the detail. Their British Infantry set is likewise beautifully done. I'm not really sure why some reviewers feel they were cheated. These are not ready-made toy figures, but precision-moulded plastic model kits. I think some people really need to pay more attention to what they are buying.

Overall happy with my purchase.

Totally of 15 figures, as two of them as tank crews.. various additions are provided.. great for dioramas..
