Clairol Natural Instincts Bold Permanent Hair Dye, R56 Achiote Auburn Hair Color, Pack of 1

The picture doesn’t do any justice to the real color. I’ve been using clariol since I decided to stop spending my money on getting highlights. I used the R8 before, which I loved. It made my hair look like a natural ginger. I decided to go darker because my natural is a 3-4. I noticed that this one covered my grays way better than the R8, but of course, it doesn’t look like a natural red color, I still like it and I get many compliments. My hair looks shinier and it makes the green from my hazel eyes pop. I didn’t was it yet, but I’m sure it will fade a lot. I use a “clendicioner” with color to help keep my hair red. I would recommend to keep the color on for double the time they suggest in the box. I used a plastic bag to keep it warmer so it could process the product faster and better and I think it helped. Antes usé el R8, y me encantaba porque dejaba mi pelo N3-4 pelirrojo natural y la gente me daba cumplidos pensando que era mi color natural. Decidí probar este porque el tono es más parecido a la oscuridad de mi pelo natural y la verdad que me gusta mucho porque cubre mis canas mejor que el R8. Aun no lo lavé, pero supongo que voy a perder mucho del rojo, así que lo lavaré con un champú especial que deja depósitos rojos (se llama clenditioner de Keracolor) para mantenerlo de este color por más tiempo hasta que sea hora de teñirlo otra vez. Para teñirlo lo dejé el doble del tiempo recomendado en la caja y lo cubrí con una bolsa de plástico para que el calor ayudara a procesar el producto.

Very good pigment I think this is the first dye that I feel very soft in my hair when washing it it felt very soft, nice color but very red for my tone c64

Nice smell. No ammonia. Beautiful color. Wonderful after care conditioner. This a quality box color.

Color: Copper I put this color over dark blonde hair. The color came out just as advertised on the box. It’s very bright & vibrant. Unfortunately, the color mostly came out after a couple of washes. I have a photo I posted of my hair after the two washes. I didn’t have time to take a photo of my hair right after it was done. Overall, the color is beautiful and the dye doesn’t seem to do much damage to the hair. However, the color doesn’t last long. I’ve used Demi dye hair dyes that were less temporary. But, if you want to have this color for about a week(or less) then I would order it!

I love this color. I've been using an amethyst color for years until I found this! it's not red and it's not properly. for me, it's a very happy meeting in the middle.

THIS HAIR COLOR IS EVERYTHING! I've been looking for my "Reba" red for awhile now. My old hair dye is no longer available. It is a bit bright at first but fades a little after a few washes. I dyed my hair over a month ago and it's still amazingly red! I am shocked that a low price dye is this amazing!

This hair dye is great at covering grays, leaves my hair shiny, and lasts weeks. However, the color comes out black with no hint of purple. Bummer

Je me teint les cheveux depuis des années et j'ai toujours adoré le rouge. Malheureusement, à chaque fois, la coloration tient à peine une semaine puis mes cheveux prennent une teinte auburn terne et défraîchi très laide qui ne se corrige qu'avec du brun très foncé ou du noir... J'ai essayé cette coloration ci car j'ai lu et entendu des commentaires disant qu'elle était très durable et qu'elle ne décolorait pas en un auburn laid. C'est vrai!!!! Sérieusement, je n'en revient pas!! Ça n'a pas taché mes serviettes comme les autres l'ont fait. Ça a donné une couleur absolument magnifique et d'une durabilité extraordinaire!! Ça fait environs deux semaines que j'ai appliqué cette teinture sur mes cheveux. Elle n'a que très, très légèrement décoloré et demeure d'un rouge profond absolument somptueux! Je recommande très fortement! :)

I like this colour. And no ammonia is what I look for

I haven't tried this shade before. I usually go for a more natural look but the picture on the box showed a rather pretty shade. I mean you can't beat the price and I can always try another colour once this one fades. Warning ahead of time; it's VERY orange.

first time ever using this and dying my hair this colour from a darker brown. it definitely is bold for sure, it is very noticeably blue but it doesn’t eliminate the red tones in my hair. for the first couple of days my scalp was completely blue but it didn’t stain my face or anything and with a few washes the blue scalp problem was gone. very lovely though, and i might try it again in the future!

I love it but came out way darker considering my hair was light to begin with. Also bleeds all over skin and clothes for first week
