It broke after a month of regular use being carried around and regularly wound (a full wind seemed to last ~30 hours); the mechanism broke and it simply wouldn't go.I got a return approved, and was told to ship it to an address in China, and had to pay out of pocket. The shipment was unclaimed, and returned to sender so that was pointless anyway. After talking to customer support, I got a refund approved (including for part of the shipping cost), but this process was very time-consuming and not very consumer-friendly.If you're looking for a prop that doesn't work (and to be fair, a lot of my reason for getting this was the aesthetics), then this is an excellent option (albeit an expensive one for a merely decorative piece). However, you could pay twice as much and get something of a quality that will last. Hence, I cannot in good faith recommend this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good wind up watch. *by on Reviewed in the United States 17 February 2026* I really think these are good wind up watches worth their money. They'll get you through, and you don't have to replace any batteries, as long as your patient enough to wind them up at least once every 36 hours or so. That will keep them going.I got tired of replacing watch batteries years ago, so these kind of watches are all that I will by now.I love them, and they work great! ### ⭐ costume *by on Reviewed in Australia 28 August 2026* doesn’t keep time at all very disappointed as it was a gift for my son --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.mx/products/505781342-silver-pocket-watch](https://www.desertcart.mx/products/505781342-silver-pocket-watch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mexico* *Store origin: MX* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
