Lightweight, beautiful and effective.
Recently bought for upgrade in my friends computer, and I think I was taken aback by its quality in comparison to the large Noctua heatsink I have installed in my own built more recently. It is compact, and lightweight, but looks and feels premium, with central bound reinforcement to the fins, so I didn't have to worry about the individual fins bending during installation. The fan was very easy to install, and runs quiet and bright. I have it running on a Ryzen 5 2600, stock speeds, at acceptable idle temperatures. I removed and used my own thermal paste (Arctic MX-6), which runs well as expected, I can only assume the stock paste would be effective within a small number of additional degrees. The fan comes with a PWM header, and also an ARGB header. Unfortunately the motherboard did not have a Lighting controller, however the fan's default rainbow looks amazing.

Decent cooler; quiet and effective if used within its limits
Can't fault it for what I use it for, and it's generally very quiet. Keeps my 14600K at decent temperatures even when my system is really hammering it. Having said that, if you're buying this for a processor that you're going to overclock (despite the K, I'm not overclocking mine — would have very little benefit in my system), you'll probably want something a bit stronger. Obviously that all depends on the airflow around your system; if you've chosen to make your system silent by stuffing it full of pillows, then your cooling needs are likely to be a little more extreme. Incidentally, stuffing your system full of pillows is not a good way to make it silent. It's a good way to make your street very noisy with the sound of fire engines.

AM4 installation- excellent choice for air cooling
I ordered this cooler and installed it on my Ryzen 5 5600X. Before, my CPU temperatures (using AMD's stock cooler) averaged about 50 degrees celsius when resting, and got as hot as 90 degrees when under load. These temperatures were definitely abnormal, and in hindsight, I most likely botched the installation of the stock cooler. Now, with this cooler installed and with a healthy helping of Arctic's MX-4 thermal paste, my resting temperature is 35 degrees celsius, and when the processor is under load, about 50 degrees. I will continue this review with some heads-ups for newer PC-builders and my experience of installation. Do note that if you are tedious about your PC's lighting, ensure that your motherboard has a 5V 3-pin header handy. I purchased this cooler on a whim and, unfortunately, I only have 12V 4-pin headers for RGB. The RGB still works even if you only plug in the fan header, however you cannot control it with software. It's not the end of the world, and I can attest that RGB really does help you win games. For AM4 chips, there is not much hardware installation and removal involved as compared with other processors-- you must tinker with more pieces if you are an Intel user. All I had to do was simply uninstall my previous cooler, apply thermal paste, put the heat sink and fan together and then mount it on to the AM4 backplate for my motherboard. I did not account for clearance when purchasing the Hyper 212 cooler, and fortunately I did not need to temporarily remove my RAM or any other parts to install the entire cooler, nor take my motherboard out of the chassis (although it would probably make your life easier if you did). However, it's probably in your best interest to gauge the space between your components prior to ordering this cooler. My case is mATX and as mentioned before installation was very smooth. Some people noted that they did not receive Cooler Master's thermal paste when they ordered the cooler. I did, but I opted to use the aforementioned MX-4 by Arctic out of personal preference. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quick dispatch of the fan, its sleek design, simple installation, efficiency compared to my previous cooler, and how quiet it is! Cooler Master does it again with producing quality air coolers. I am rating this product 4/5 because of a paper tag on one of the cables that will void your warranty if you remove it. It is a tad bit obnoxious and I wished that manufacturers could put them elsewhere on their products. Besides that, my only other qualm is with the RGB header issue, but that's my own fault for not doing my research 😃

Ideal cooler
Replaced an old Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo when upgrading the CPU in my PC, looks sleek, was much easier to fit than my old one as the bracket was designed much better with this model, and no concerns with temps during gaming. All running cool and pretty quiet too, why bother with an AIO cooler!

Great looking cooler, good performance.
Very happy with this purchase, using it with a ryzen 5 5800x3d, keeps this cpu cool under decent load. Fan looks great, is an updated version to the others in my case but looks very similar with great colour. Make sure to check dimensions for your case, mine was very tight to the glass. Instructions were clear and easy to follow to install.

King of budget coolers
Nephew didn't have a cooler. This was a no brainer. He's happy as can be. I've used variants of this cooler in many builds over the years and it's never let me down. It's built well, quick and easy to fit, and works with any modern motherboard. The stock fan is quiet enough, yet cools well. Overall I'm not sure I'd bother looking at another cooler at this budget point, as this is great value for money.
