GTDaudio 4 Handheld Wireless Microphone Cordless mics System

So I host Karaoke shows I had the four Mic system vocal pro for almost 10 years and it finally died on me got my moneys worth ! I really didn’t wanna spend another $500 so I took a gamble on these so I found GTD audio for only $128 and man do they work great! I first tested at home against my shure mic that I use for my personal use ehen im hosting karaoke ! I had a friend come over who’s a really good singer to test out the GTD and we could hardly tell the difference between the shure and these mics ! I’m just blown away how good they sound so I did a karaoke show last night for five hours at the bar and they sounded amazing. I am truly pleased with these. I was gonna send them back if they sounded like crap and now I give it five stars out of five.

FCC regulations (taking back the 600mghz band for electronic devices) forced me to find and alterative frequencies. I owned 2 of the GTD 787s, with selectable frequencies great sound and range. These use the same Mic pic ups and are a decent value for the money. No dropouts or noise interference so far. Have not really tested range but I find them competent for bars, restaurant and wedding use.

Great sound quality! Excellent range as long as no obstacle is between the mic and the receiver. I tested it up to 500 ft. In an open lot with no signal loss and excellent sound quality. With a metal music stand in the path range was only 150 ft. before it began to cut out. I have not done an endurance test on the batteries, but the only time we have used them so far was a two hour plus event and there were no problems. AA batteries are cheap, so I will choose to change them for every new event and I do not anticipate any problems.

I loved these for the first 3 weekends I used them. Then one mic stopped picking up sound and a second one had the switch get stuck - the day after my return window closed. I was able to reach out to the seller and they are sending me new mics right now! Fabulous customer service, and hopefully these replacements last longer. The system is amazing aside from that little snag - they work great! Hopefully they can fix the issue with the switches, it looks like this is a common issue.

I'm a karaoke DJ, and purchased these mics for my gigs. I absolutely love them. The sound quality is second to none for the money. Being that I use them every night, I did find that after about a year of use the switches start to get funny. That's not a complaint, that's a compliment. I would definitely recommend these for any application you need them.

I just used them as the Microphone system for a conference and they worked GREAT. They were easy on batteries because I used them for five days and did not have to exchange batteries in the Mic all week. I am considering buying another set for another organization!

I have a few sets of microphones, and these perform as well as my Shure microphones that cost WAY more. They don't have that heavy duty feel like the Shure, but considering I can buy about 5 sets of these to the one set of Shures, I'm ok with that. Great range and sound!

Before I came to give a review I went to see if I could get support. The way support is set up it gives you topics and fir the issue I’m having there isn’t a topic. The most concerning issue I have is with a mic that’s NOT plugged into the mixer, if you turn the mic on the sound comes through the mixer. When it comes through, even though, it’s not plugged up the sound is like an alien sound. The other three mics that come with the system, works fine as it relates to sound quality. The issue with the other thee is it sends a weird signal through the speakers. If you stand far and I do mean far away it doesn’t do it but if you get whiting 10 feet of the speaker this alien noise comes through the speakers from the mics and this is irritating. If you turn the mics off, the alien noise / sound goes completely away. These mics are cheap and u get it, you get what you pay for but the first issue is just odd. How a mic is not plugged into the mixer and sound still comes through. (all the mics are plugged into the mixer with XLR cables)
