My first airbrush. Great value and no signs of poor quality. Once I learned how to use it my models started looking much more professional. Take time to learn how to use one on youtube. First time I had too high a pressure and blew the paint off! Take time masking and preparing and buy a quick release fitting (costs pennies on amazon). Also buy a retarder (again pennies) as it stops blockages. Blockages can happen very easily when you first start and puts many people off using the equipment.

My daughter is a very keen young artist and wanted to test out air brushing. This kit was ideal as it comes with everything she needed to get going. It’s a comprehensive starter kit which means my daughter can start air brushing with very minimal set up. The compressor works very well and is great for fledgling artists like my daughter. She can now practice different air brushing techniques. This kit comes with a nice carry case to keep it all tidy and safe when not in use. It’s also nice and quite while you are using it so it will not create a lot of noise or disturb other people in the house. I picked up this airbrush kit to improve the finish on my car model kits and I’ve found it really useful for both fine detail work and broader paint coverage. The three included brushes (0.2 mm, 0.3 mm and 0.8 mm) give me the flexibility to handle everything from tiny bodywork lines and panel edges to larger basecoat areas. Having that variety means I don’t need to switch kits when changing tasks I just pick the appropriate brush for the job. Using it on my plastic models (especially lexan bodies and detailed scale parts) has made a noticeable difference. I’ve been able to lay down much smoother, more even coats than with a regular brush and the compressor supplies steady air that gives good atomisation without sputtering, assuming the paint is thinned correctly. With the 0.2 mm nozzle I’ve been able to pick out fine accents and weathering effects, while the 0.8 mm is ideal when I’m covering large panels or doing base layers. Maintenance is fairly straightforward, which is important for me as I use the airbrush quite often. After a session I flush out the paint with cleaner and it disassembles easily for a deeper clean when needed. That being said, beginners might need a little time to get used to managing the air pressure and keeping the nozzles clear it’s not quite foolproof but for the price and performance it’s a solid kit to start building professional level results on model cars.

I use it every day and it hasn't let me down. SAGUD is a known brand and I have spoken to a few people prior to buying. Not let me down at all apart from clogging once or twice, but that was down to me not thinning my paints enough. Maintains air pressure and is very quiet. Like really quiet. Comes with ear plugs butnuve never even thought about using them. My speaking voice is louder. Good for beginners as you get 3 airbrushes. Single action air fed, a small gravity fed with a small needle(0.2mm I think), great for detail work and a large gravity fed with a 0.5mm needle, great for priming or doing larger areas. So you dont need to worry about swapping needles and nozzles, just use the quick release and swap airbrush instead.

I was a little nervous making this purchase as there are a few poor reviews on the internet but I need not have worried. The compressor runs very well and with very little noise. It supplies air, “on demand” within parameters you can set yourself so cuts in and out as the air pressure in the storage tank changes with use. Since purchasing it I have used it daily and so far it has operated perfectly. I have only used 2 of the 3 airbrushes thus far and for me they have been more than adequately. Maybe more experienced users would disagree but for me they do the job I bought it for. I would recommend the compressor.
