Works on dyed black hair
I have used colour removers before, I hadn't tried this brand before I was a bit sceptical, some of the reviewers rate this highly & others said it didn't work on simple colours & I have been dying my hair black for a few years now. I mixed the two bottles together, applied to my hair, put a shower cap on waited 30minutes then rinsed for 5minutes, used the buffer shampoo waiting 2 minutes then rinsed another 5minutes, I then added a bit of conditioner & rinsed again. Totally shocked me my hair wasn't dried out! EVERY colour remover I used in the past really dried my poor hair out, I was not looking forward to this but it honestly didn't happened with this product. I didnt really notice much scent while using the product but when my hair dried I did get a whiff of the off egg smell so the next day I used my first protein conditioner & the smell went. So the big surprise is this removed my black dye & left me with a medium brown. I honestly don't even mind the colour, it has taken all the colour out of my 'whites' (ok greys!) but I can live with this for a week, I have bleach ready to lift the colour a little before trying my next new colour. I am overall impressed with this & will gladly use again when I get fed up of my future colour :) I have asked 4 hairdressers & they all told me to wait 7 - 10 days before using bleach or I run the risk of my hair breaking off so I am lucky that I don't mind the colour this lifted my hair to. Every other day I am using a protein conditioner my hair doesn't feel or look like it needs it I just want it in superb condition for when I use the bleach this weekend. The rinsing felt boring but I did it while in the shower & had hubby do the stopwatch for me so wasn't too bad just a little boring, worth it for the overall result this has done.

Not worked. Still have dark dye in hair. Waste of time, effort and money, really annoyed.

Great but don't buy from it Amazon!
Ive used this product on several occasions and it does what it says on the tin. I've used it on permanent dyed black and darkest brown hair and it has worked effectively. It has lightened my hair ever so slightly above what I'd say is my natural colour but it tends to fix itself over time and is barely noticeable. People moan so much about the "rotten egg" smell and it almost deterred me from buying it. To be fair it just has a weird chemically smell which is nowhere as near as bad as the ammonia smell that comes off hair dye! (Which I guess you've used if you're buying this...) It is a bit annoying to use. You apply it as you would a hair dye and leave for 30 mins then rinse for 5-10 minutes. Then you apply half the bottle of buffer and leave for 1 minute, rinse for 5 minutes, apply other half of buffer, rinse for 5 minutes. Time consuming and a lot of rinse but I guess if you like standing in the shower that's fine. It's also probably a lot easier, cheaper and faster than using a hairdresser. When you've finished your hair will feel a bit like straw. I pack a load of conditioner on my hair, leave for a few minutes then rinse and that tends to correct the issue. Anyway, my final advice is don't but this product from Amazon (currently £7.99) as its far cheaper elsewhere. I bought the exact same item from Savers for £2.99. Hope this helps, it worked for me several times and I will use again if I dye my hair and then decide to remove it.

Please read full review for details but key point is, it works!!! What a relief!
So, I've decided to give a detailed review for this product in case anyone finds it helpful. If this is too long, my title sums it up. Firstly, this product comes in 3 bottles: 1. Activator 2. Remover 3. Finishing Buffer According to the instructions, this product is suitable if you've used a darker permanent colourant and not suitable if you've bleached or lightened your hair, which makes sense. The instructions are that you mix bottles 1&2 and leave that to develop for 30 mins, taking special care to avoid any of it getting into your eyes. Then you run warm water over it for 5 mins, apply half of bottle 3, rinse for 5 mins, and reminder of bottle 3 for another 5 mins. Easy enough. What I've noticed: The combined 1&2 does have a strong chemical smell, and getting near the 15-20 mins mark (you have to leave it on for 30 mins) I started to get a stinking sensation on near my ears and the back of my neck. But not burning sensation. So I did that full 30 mins. When rinsing that off, I noticed the texture of my hair is different, so I'm worried it'll have dried out my hair. It didn't, I'll say more on that later. Also didn't notice any colourant in the water, or at least for the first minute or so. I closed my eyes for the rest of the time to avoid anything getting in it. I was looking out for that because another product I used a few years ago, B4, did literally washed the colour out. Again, I'll say more on that later. Bottle 3 smelled a bit better, you'll notice instantly, but that's the smell that will linger in your bathroom/shower long after. Also, none of the bottles are transparent, so when it says to use half first, I used about a third, only realising that when I poured out the rest for the final 5 mins to realise how much was still in it. So, going back to the worry about dried out hair. When I towel dried my hair after the whole thing, firstly, huge relief when I looked in the mirror! My hair is back, my hair colour and texture, still soft so I guess it didn't dry it out in the process. It worked and that's key, so 4 stars! And will be buying this again if I need to. Finally, a note before I wrap up this review. I used B4 a number of years ago. As mentioned above, when I rinsed using that, I could see the colour coming off in the water. But it was a long time ago, so don't know if B4 will still do that. And also not sure if it's got anything that do with the colourant to begin with. When I was deciding which colour remover to get, I did consider B4 again, because why risk it if you know something works for you? But didn't realise how many different types B4 have now, so it's a bit confusing. It's also more expensive and not available on prime (when I was shopping for it). So decided to go for this one after reading the reviews, and in turn, I hope this review can help some of you make that decision for yourself. This is only based on my experience this time. I know how frustrating it is to have a dye job go wrong. Hope this review helps!

didn’t work :(
I’ve used this colour remover before and it worked well but for some reason it barely worked this time?? Also didn’t come with gloves so had to use some that I already had. I say don’t buy this from Amazon and just try find hair dye remover in store. This lowkey also made my hair fall out nut terribly but much worse than other times I’ve used colour remover

Effective stripper for red hair!
So I went semi perm bright red(1st pic) on top of dark brown fading to light brown ombre. I let the bright red dye out naturally for 2.5 months which got it to a dark ginger/red brown( 2nd pic) I wanted my hair blond ish for summer. So I used this stripper to remove as much of the red as possible. It actually went light brown on top and dark blonde at the bottom( it didnt bleach it as I was blonde 2 years ago) so this has made it easier for me to now bleach to get back to an all over blonde colour. It definitely lifted more than I expected because red is notoriously difficult to get out of hair. It didnt damage my hair at all. There is a smell but it isn't rotten eggs like with other strippers so it isn't bad. But yeah I did the stripper like 2 days ago it does say to wait for 2-4 weeks to redye so I'm going to bleach it in 2 weeks as I'll be using toner also which the stripper may darken if I dont wait the recommended time. Others have said it is time consuming, but It does only take an hour to complete the whole process so not really that bad. I put stripper on my roots which were my virgin colour ( accidentally) but because this is a stripper it didnt do anything to my virgin roots( thankfully) just incase your worried it will lighten your natural hair and you accidentally do put them on the roots it doesnt affect them, it only targets dyed ligaments but obviously avoid your roots as your wasting stripper. I only needed one box. Do apply with tint brush and make sure you get all the hair. Then wrap hair in plastic bag and apply a low heat for 5 mins before the end. I would definitely use this stripper again and it removes red hair dye woo!

0000000 star horrendous product
The only reason this has got one star is so I can leave a review. This has got to be the worst hair colour remover I have ever used in my entire life. I have been dying my hair and stripping my hair for the last 20 something years this has got to be the worst product I have ever used not only does it dry your hair out very badly it does not strip the colour whatsoever. If anything it makes your hair darker. I know some people come to the reviews for Help and I really hope this reaches people who are deciding to buy this product. I would most definitely stay away although it is cheaper than a few others. It’s most definitely worth spending a few more pennies on a better one than this one. Absolutely shocking. I have brought four boxes and nothing has happened. AVOID

Funktioniert gut -Haare danach unbedingt gut pflegen.

Does not worn
Followed directions and it did nothing to my hair other than leave a horrible smell that hasn’t come off after three washes. Do not recommend this and my hair color never came off as stated in packaging.

doesn’t change anything!!
i bought this cause i recently dyed my hair blue while it was bleached then i decided to go dark brown over the blue but i wanted to go back to blonde. i know this product can’t take out the blue so i expected it to take out the brown leave me with the blue and later on i will bleach it again, however nothing changed i left this product on for 60 min and it did absolutely nothing it maybe lightened the brown by 1% but that’s nothing you can’t even see the difference! it really dries out the hair and damages the same as bleach almost!
