Then everything needed to correctly make the costume is given. It has perfectly accurate pattern draughts and superbly clear making illustrations taking you through every process from start to completion. Indispensable.

Excellent historical resource with a wealth of in-depth information for EXPERIENCED garment makers. No good at all for beginners but excellent for people wanting to replicate hugely accurate period clothes.

All I can say is this is a great book massively well illustrated with exploded diagrams and techniques, how I ever managed without it I don't know. If you make historical period consumes or reenactment this is a must have, worth twice what they charge for it.
