Hunter AC-Solenoid Replacement, 24V Sprinkler Valve Solenoid for Hunter Irrigation Valves, Heavy Duty Encapsulated Design, Captive Plunger, Pre-Stripped Wires

Bought this as a replacement for what I assumed was a tired Hunter AC-Solenoid for one of my sprinkler zones. Replaced it easily. After much troubleshooting, I determined that some rodent under my deck had eaten all of the insulation off of my sprinkler wire harness during the winter. In doing so, it had also eaten through the copper wire of this zone. Patched the wiring - and all is working properly. I now have a spare Hunter AC-Solenoid for when ever one fails in the future.

Perfect replacement, same as OEM you d find at local stores but cheaper. No issue, ordered a few and they we are in working orders. Can't go wrong with these.

Sprinkler stoped working on one zone. Sure enough works fine if I manually engage it, so I’m thinking I need a new solenoid. Naturally my close big box store doesn’t have solenoids to fit my brand of sprinkler, so Amazon to the rescue, screw in and it does it’s job now without complaint. Literally, it’s a solenoid, it turns on when power comes. Water does it’s job. Isn’t it nice when stuff works like it’s supposed to? What else can I say about it - it’s a solenoid and I’m reviewing a solenoid on my phone I bought through the internet. The age of wonder!
