If your dog has anxiety, you need this! My dog has anxiety with storms, firecrackers, and loud noises. I have Trazodone for her, but it doesn't always work. Especially when random fireworks are going off, or I don't see her pre-storm warning signs. She used to shake and try to hide under furniture. These have been a lifesaver! I start playing one, and she relaxes and often falls asleep. It's great for times when she is restless for whatever reason and won't settle. It's like a dog lullaby! She has a favorite one that seems to work best, but the only one I don't like for my own ear is the jazzy type one. Otherwise, I find them to be soothing as well. She is the hound dog mix in the picture.

Great music that keeps my dog calm while I am away. My dog used to pace and bark but after playing him music, he has been able to calm down faster and take a nap. I like that the music has a middle range of notes so it doesn’t hurt dog ears. I also like that there are 3 CD options. Not sure if my dog cares about the quantity of songs but I do 😉

My dog does seems to like it; he possibly even listens. I certainly do; it calms ME! I like the complexity of the pieces being reduced to the simplicity of just a piano.

This music is used in our local animal shelter kennels to comfort and soothe the animals, who are in an environment of noise, activity, and constantly changing surroundings-STRESS! It calms both the animals and the volunteers and staff who work there. My dogs love it and recognize it as a time for naps, sleep or long car rides. Couldn't be without these!!!

I love the Through a Dig’s Ears CD’s and have owned a set in the past. However, could you please replace the third CD in this set, because it didn’t work. That was very disappointing!

These cd's have changed everything. My service dog from trauma has severe anxiety now. She is meditated 2x a day. I've done and tried everything. I could still use her at home but taking her out was stressful. I first got the driving edition cd so I don't go to sleep. When we would be in the store she was the old Sadie Grace & so happy. So I got these. 4th of July wasn't bad. I can sleep upstairs in my bed again. Our quality of life is so much better. I don't even have to give her extra medication. When she gets bad anxiety instead of gto her medication station she goes to the stereo. No more thunder vest. She went from 10 full blown panic attacks a week to a total of 2 in a year and a half with just these cd. I've tried others without these results plus I don't get sleepy from any of them and I fall asleep standing up.

This product is nice classical music but did nothing for calming my dog during New Years Eve fireworks. I have opened the package and played the cd for anxiety and my dog just was upset by the fireworks and not calmed by the music. At a different time when I knew someone was coming, I had them playing when they rang the doorbell and dog had no reaction to the music. Maybe some dogs react, and this is a nice idea, but my sweetie did not respond. Now I am out $40. Unless Amazon will accept return for product that is opened.
