Easy to hang, Easy to use
I love these portable clothes lines so much. It's basically a bungee cord with clothes pins attached. So simple, but extremely useful. There is a hook on each end to attach to a tree branch outside or a metal shelving unit or similar inside. 12 metal "clothes pins" are attached to hang whatever you need to keep off the ground. You could also just throw a towel over the line to dry without using the pins. The cord has a good amount of stretch to it but not so much that it's flimsy. This is great to use camping, at a rental with insufficient shelves or hooks or in your laundry room to hang wet swimsuits or snow clothes. I'm sure there's a lot of other uses but those are a few that I use this for. I would definitely recommend.

DOES AN AMAZING JOB
I'm an Amazon Customer/Reviewer - Shipped timely; packaged well. This clothesline is amazing - pretty strong and the clothespins attached are really quite strong. The portability factor is the strong selling point - just hook the ends over whatever you have - eyebolt; nails; etc - put it up and take it down or leave it hanging. I take mine down between the uses. I like to air dry my wearable clothes; we had rain this week so the indoor drying was very useful. Easy to use; really quite strong. Does the job for which it was designed. Quite pleased with this product.

great little clothesline if you can get a tight stretch on it
We don't currently have a clothes dryer and wanted this extra clothesline to supplement our outside lines. It is essentially a bungee cord with a solid hook on each end plus 12 clips which slide along the cord. If the cord is not stretched tightly, the clips and anything they are attempting to hold slide to the middle of the sagging line. The hooks require something substantial to hold the weight of the line once you have added items to dry. We have been challenged to find two anchor points the right distance apart inside our house to make this line work effectively. If you have the right place to hang this line and can get a tight stretch, it will work great. The line is around 70" long and stretches out to twice that. I found it needed to be stretched to at least 125" to avoid a deep sag in the line. Stretching to 140" gave a very taught line with little sag. Finding good anchors 140" apart, though, may be challenging. I did test it with standard clothespins, in addition to the 12 clips permanently on the line, and they functioned well. It does coil up to form a small bundle which would not take up much space in a backpack or suitcase. It only weighs 5.5 ounces.

Product I didn't know I needed!
I'm so happy that I stumbled on this portable clothesline. It's such a great idea! I travel lots in the summertimes to vacation rentals that offer swimming spots. This clothesline will be an excellent hack for me next summer in ensuring that I have ample space outdoors to dry my bathing suits and towels. I love that it's low profile but with sturdy built-in clothing hooks and also a guaranteed way to fasten it by looping back onto self at each end (in case you are lacking anchoring options on one or both ends. So long as you are thinking of this as a hack for small drying projects, I think you will love this. Price is great/low, too.

Very weak, even with low weight. Likely bad for portable use. Good for home use w/ a proper plan.
"Suitable for travel, camping, outdoor, indoor. " This is a direct quote from the product page. If you believe this line above which appears in the product description you will probably be very disappointed with this product. If you simply have both ends of this clothesline hooked onto a tree, fence, etc and have anything more than just a couple shirts hanging on it, it will sag very badly (see 2 of my attached photos). Having said that, I am bumping this product up to 3.5 stars because I have actually found a decent way to make it work pretty well with some initial planning and adjustments. If you look at image #3, you can see that the clothesline is now barely sagging at all (and actually working quite well!). The reason for this is that I have added a few small nails equidistantly across the entire length of that wooden beam that the line is hanging from. I then have some of the evenly-spaced clothespins hooked onto the nail heads that are sticking out from the wooden beam. I then turn on both ceiling fans on either side of this easily removable clothesline and my clothes now dry very quickly and have very minimal risk of falling down! In summation: unless you carry a hammer and some nails with you wherever you go and always have a long wooden, horizontal object to hammer into then this product will be terrible for both portable external and portable internal use! But, with the right tools and planning, it can be made to be a functional and actually even pretty good semi-portable product overall for just using at home. The key is the weight needs to be supported and evenly distributed throughout the entire length of the clothesline in regular intervals, as opposed to only at each opposite end.

Great for camping!
Love these retractable clothes lines for our camping! We are a family of four and had one before, but need a little extra space - especially for beach or kayaking trips when we have more wet items that need to be hung. This is similar quality to our other clothesline. I appreciate the 12 clips - I do wish these came with a few more clips (the other has a similar quantity), but we have regular clothespins that work for extras when needed.

Works great, very useful
Very handy and works. Great, we are using it at the country property for occasional air drying of the laundry. It is simple and lightweight. Can be easily packed in a bag to take and vacations for hotel rooms.

Simple to Use and Easy to Stow
I bought this to use while traveling, so it had to be something I could get out and use and then put away again easily and this does the trick. It seems to be pretty strong and it's just long enough to be used under the awing of my trailer or if I want, to use inside the trailer. The clips that come with it are fine...an extra, but not really necessary for me, I'll only use them for very light items like socks, most of the other things I would drap over this line are a bit heavier and will stay in place by themselves. Fills my need and with hooks at either end is very easy to put up and take down. I saved a bag from a bike cover I bought and keep it in that. You could probably keep it in a quart ziplock bag and just toss in a drawer or storage container for whenever you need it.
