It was not defective
After I received the Waterpik Flosser, from amazon the charger worked for about a week. Not only that, the flosser came with a nice plastic box that was missing the 4 picks. So after buying and receiving the missing picks on amazon (~$10.00), a week later I found that the charger failed so I bought another for ~$10.00. I like and recommend the Waterpik flosser despite of the inconvenience of having to wait for the delivery of missing and defective parts. It's great that amazon sells these items.

I tried this product, it did not charge the waterpik, even when left for 24 hours. Total waste of my money. Would not suggest buying it

Broke waterpick water floss
I lost my original charger during a move and decided to buy this one. I put my water floss on overnight charging after which it stopped working. Now I need to buy a new waterpick water floss. Be careful and maybe look for alternatives.
