Having not been impressed by the local Timpson's shoe repair I thought I'd get stuck in when my wife lost a heel on her favourite boots. These are quality items. Thick rubber and look substantial. Cutting them to size was tricky. I made multiple passes with a scalpel and then a final shaping with a belt sander and Dremel. Special shoe glue (strong but flexible) and then I used a nail gun with 15mm Brad's to complete the job. So far so good! I'm chuffed that I managed a semi professional job with these heals. Now in the wife's good books too as a bonus!

I'd gained the impression these are self adhesive, they are not. Ok the advert says 'stick on' which is ambiguous. After buying some glue I'm getting on to having spent 1/3 of the cost of new shoes.

'peel off the adhesive backing of the heel saver' Implies that it is self sticking. rubbish. total waste of money. what a scam product.

I have a pair of Chelsea boots that I bought quite a number of years ago. I have had them resolved and heeled a number of times, they are so comfortable to wear. Noticed the heels were nearly worn down to the shoe heel, seen this product and thought why not give it a try. Result, new heels without too much effort. Just added some tacks as well to be sure. Now they are good to go again for another while. Recommended.

Purchased these for a a mens size 12 shoe and they were about 1.5cm too short and a fraction too wide so needed to be trimmed a little. That said they applied with no issues and with a good glue have stayed attached to the shoe. As a frequent walker I have walked about 200 miles (on concrete) so far and they are showing suprising little wear so must be made of pretty strong stuff. I would have given it 5 stars is based on quality alone although I knocked 1 star off as they were too short and too wide ... but that could just be my shoes, on others size shows they could be fine. I'd definately buy them again. Please note they need a good shoe glue, the first glue I used lasted about 5 miles before they started to peel away, with a better glue they have stayed in place.

Truly thick rubber. Can't wait to get them glued on, and now need to order the front sections

I was disappointed that I only got the heels obviously I misunderstood the description "Yosoo Health Gear Rubber Sole Heel Savers Classic Shoe Repair Kit" which I thought I was buying a heels and soles kit. I've not used the heels yet as the soles where my main requirement but they look thick and robust
