This is one of a series of comprehension books that are designed to develop the skills needed to decode text using a stepped approach. They have well chosen varied subject matter, with attractive illustrations and questions to gain an understanding of literal references, inference and ability to evaluate the text in more depth.

Good quality book
An interesting book to look at, my son still hates comprehension but that’s not a reflection on the quality of the book. The questions are a bit watery, I think CGP comprehension asks better questions.
