Fit perfectly despite the description
I measured the hole, I measured the old item, but it looked like this would be a slightly different length than the hole, so I imagined I'd have to chisel the hole or fill part with putty. But this fit perfectly in the original hole. Sadly, the screws that came with the flat plate for the bolt to latch into were of low quality and one broke off in the wood. Ugh. Someday I'll try to drill it out, but it won't be easy.

A quality product for Stanley french doors!
This bolt is high quality, and a very close match for the damaged unit that was original equipmentwith my Stanley french doors. It fit without any modifications to the existing doors, The screw holes for mounting the bolt were the same location. It was an easy five minute repair!

Helpful for French door
This was not the easiest to install. That’s a pretty big cut you have to make into the door, which there’s not much room for error. It went smooth. I was able to get it.. It looks great. It’s really secure it hold itself well it was a very cheap add-on. That makes these doors a lot more useful.

Why aren't these fixtures sold in packages of two? If you are using them on your door you naturally need 2. Doesn't say sold as singles..Duh
