Dr Podcast Scripts for the Primary FRCA

I am a trainee ACCP and bought this to help pass my OSCE's. I find the answers to the questions very in-depth and so it is an excellent learning and revision tool for my level of training.

Very useful book for the EDAIC exam. Concise and clear. Some details are missing. Maybe some more figures and tables should be included.

Clear and concise

Both front and back covers are damaged but inside text looks fine. I haven’t got a chance to read the context so I can’t say anything about it. Edit: It’s not the written version of the podcasts. I bought it to follow the audio on the text and I can’t do it. A little disappointed.

very good book. Very good for primary viva and doesn't break the bank. All my questions were in here somewhere.

Ich habe das Buch im Rahmen meiner Vorbereitung für das EDAIC gekauft. Die Parallelen zwischen EDAIC und FRCA sind offensichtlich, so dass das eigentlich für die englische Facharztprüfung konzipierte Buch auch für die EDAIC-Vorbereitung sehr hilfreich ist. Es kann die Beschäftigung mit "richtigen" Lehrbüchern nicht ersetzen, bereitet aber sehr gut auf die Prüfungssituation vor, vermittelt Prüfungsstrategien und behandelt auch Themen, die man in der deutschsprachigen Literatur in dieser Form nicht oder nur schwer findet. Insbesondere wird auf prüfungsrelevante Inhalte hingewiesen, die nicht unbedingt offensichtlich erscheinen. Ich hatte das Buch zusätzlich noch als Podcast, weil ich gerne Laufen gehe. Wenn man es mit dem Tempo nicht übertreibt, bleibt von der Berieselung mit Themen aus Physik, Physiologie und Pharmakologie sicher auch Einiges hängen. Ich würde halte die gedruckte Version aber für das bessere Gesamtpaket, weil darin auch die erheblich zum Verständnis beitragenden Diagramme enthalten sind. Sofern die englische Sprache keine größere Barriere beim Lernen darstellt, sei dieses Buch jedem DESA-Anwärter ans Herz gelegt. Es hat zumindest für mich erheblich dazu beigetragen, dass ich den zweiten Teil des EDAIC als vergleichsweise angenehm empfunden habe.

it covers all areas of the syllabus in a precise and meticulous way and give you the advice on how to be well prepared and presented in the oral exam as well as for the primary exam as it hits the MCQ secrets with out too much explanations that make you get bored. Remember you should not miss any of its questions because it is the least but the adequate

The print is very light when compared to final frca book. Not satisfied at all.. I am returning the product.

highly satisfied, it arrived in extremely right time. very happy. Still have to start to study it but it seems nicely written, therefore I hope to spend nice time reading it all!
