Latex Free Makeup Sponges

Love these blenders, I find them better than real techniques which I used for ages. They expand well in water and are great to use wet or dry. A great price point also

With the cost of living crisis putting strain on everyone’s income I find I don’t want to waste £17 plus on one ordinary beauty blender when it could be put towards shopping or my toddler. After trying various dupes from home bargains, bnm, primark etc I found that they either fell apart easily, didn’t expand as much or were like hitting your face repeatedly with a brick. HOWEVER, for the price little over £3 for 3 coming in at £1 each these are WOW! Incredibly soft, expand the same as the original beauty blender if not slightly more. This is great as I follow Meredith Duxburys routine and need a larger sponge to cover as much surface area, as quick as humanly possible! Have included a photo of an original beauty blender expanded (pink) and the Amazon dupe. Honestly mind blown, just shows sometimes it’s brand name over actual quality and vice versa. Still love the original but can’t justify the price difference at present. Finally, arrives in its own sleek black box 10/10 product quality and packaging. Save yourself well over £30 grab these you won’t regret it.. The only difference I will state is the texture of the sponge however they both serve the same purpose and I find this works well for my skin

These sponges are great for putting on day creams and blending in concealer. The density means that it soaks up all of the excess product and is easier to wash out than less dense sponges when cleaning. They have been packaged amazingly, but there was a concealer mark on the third sponge. It washed out easily with some cleanser and water.

Love these beauty blenders. Great value for money, would definitely purchase again. Important to remember to wet the sponge before use applying foundation (I've seen some reviewers complaining the sponge is too hard!) They work best when damp, this also prevents too much product soaking into the sponge. Great application, very even and flawless. Nice firm but soft texture. Very easy to clean, I tend to wash once a week & leave for a couple of hours in a bowl of warm soapy water (Cleansing shampoo works well) and then leave to air dry once rinsed well. The sponge seems resilient but I'd still be careful not to rub or squeeze too heavy handedly.

I found these a great alternative to the beauty blender, and for anyone needing a sponge to apply bake, these are amazing at picking up product and applying it really smoothly without fall out. If you're new to these remember to be cleaning these every 2-3 days, or at least every week. You can either fully drench the sponge and then sit in a bowl of water, microwave this for 30 seconds and then clean with dish soap. Or fully drench and then clean with either a mix of baby oil and baby shampoo, or extra virgin olive oil and dish soap (rinse thoroughly). It helps to improve the longevity of the sponge itself, and your skin will thank you!

I can’t believe I struggled for so long using other techniques (brushes, sponges of all shapes except this! and my fingers). Anyway, just hold these under warm water, squeeze a couple of times and they expand and become super soft. I use urban decay liquid foundation and it is so easy to get a great finish with these, I am so pleased. The makeup doesn’t absorb into the sponge, so no waste there and the pointed end is ideal for blending gently around your eyes. I will buy again, but with three in the box, they are great value and look like they will last a long time. I absolutely recommend you go for these as I love them. Happy shopping :-)
