Installed the first one in a Royal Quiet Deluxe Typewriter. It fit perfectly and the ink print looks nice and dark. Great price per ribbon when you get the 4 pack. Good to have on hand for my typewriter collection!

Fits in my typewriter and works very well!

Firstly, I’m glad that typewriter ribbons are still being manufactured, and I’m glad that they can be had so quickly and cheaply from Amazon. That being said, I’ve found that these particular ribbons are very hit-and-miss. I’ve ordered a couple packs of these, and some of them have been fine, but the latest ones are very dried out and leave a less than desirable print. I’m not sure if they’ve just sat on a shelf for too long somewhere or if they didn’t receive enough ink to begin with. The ribbons are wound on “mostly” universal spools. You may have to wind them onto your machine’s spools if they aren’t a perfect fit, but that’s not a big deal. These also don’t have metal eyelets on them to trigger the automatic ribbon reversing mechanism that’s found on some machines. An easy way around this is to tie a knot in the ribbon a few inches from the end.

I have a Sears Best Medalist typewriter and it was in much-need of new ribbons so I ordered these. They fit perfectly and work extremely well. The shipping was also very fast which I was very pleased with

This ribbon is faint and a bit blurry. I changed an old typewriter ribbon in Courtney about a week ago. The old ribbon from 20 years ago looked darker and more crisp than the new ribbon. Also, the ribbon is not universal, I had to wrap the ribbon on Courtney’s spools. Be sure to never throw out original spools, it will devalue your typewriter. I will be ordering a different ribbon for her and using this ribbon for testing some of my collection that I’m planning to sell. In my opinion, this ribbon is only good for testing typewriters on the cheap.

These typewriter ribbons were not good quality, I returned them for a refund and bought from another seller that specializes in typewriter ribbons and related products. These ribbons are not well inked. The impression produced on the typewriter with these ribbons was not any better than the old, worn ribbon that I was replacing.

Buenos pero hay que checar las muescas pues no embonaron y tuve que enrollarlas en el carrete original.
