The umbrella looks substantial and as described although it hasn’t been unfurled yet as it is for an upcoming birthday.

Good umbrella
Great umbrella, my 10 year old was very happy with it. He soon worked out how to use it and put it away as well. Very good size for him, and protected him well from the awful weather on the school runs! The Minecraft pattern makes it look good to him (and his friends) and I found it good value for money.
