Casio Wave Ceptor Illuminator Multi Band Watch

Another classic Casio that does as Casios do - work. Some reviewers claim that you can't set the time yourself on these if it can't receive the atomic radio signal. Wrong. You just turn off the receiver in settings from "auto" to "off" and set the watch like any other. People need to learn to read the directions, or, at least, watch a YouTube video, on how to run the watch before leaving negative reviews. Casio's a name you can trust and I'm sure this watch will run just fine for years to come.

This is such a good watch alongside many many other great offerings from Casio. The size and shape and details make it look good for a lot of situations not too big not too many ornamental elements. Of course, the wave receptor radio is a very nice feature as is the world time. Illumination works well, not as hard to set or set up as some suggested pretty easy, especially with the guidance online. It’s built very rugged probably the most rugged non-G-Shock Casio I’ve seen. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall look and function, especially in tan. Highly recommended great value.

Casio continues to amaze me with value for what you get. For the price, this watch defies G-Shocks by leaps and bounds. Not too long ago, you’d have to be well above $100 to get a watch that has atomic timekeeping, and you still do with many brands. This sub $40 watch therefore is a steal. Like others have said, read the instructions. It’s not hard to set up if you are remotely familiar with Casio watches. In the middle of the night, it will re-sync itself to the exact time and you won’t even notice. Aesthetics are great too. I love the desert sand color of the band with black trim on the case, which is not too big and it’s not small - perfect size. The digits are very legible. The date is a little small but who cares. The backlight is really great too and has a nice orange/amber glow that stays on for a couple seconds after you tap the button. This watch has moved itself to the top of my daily rotation….highly recommend.

Amazing watch I missed having one since I was a kid so happy that I actually got one back in my life. The weight is beautiful. The time display is magnificent. The appearance of the watch matches my clothes and the durability is on point.

A great simple watch. Uses NIST WWV to keep time really accurate in the US. Expect battery life will be several years based on previous experience.

I bought this watch to replace the one I was wearing that the band had finally broke. I bought the same model and have been very happy with the watch. It gives me all the information I need at a glance and has a decent light for nighttime use.It has a stopwatch feature and an alarm.What I really appreciate is it automatically adjusts for daylight savings and is always telling the exact time.

This is a great inexpensive watch. Its tough and waterproof, and survived 6 months of training. Battery life is great, its still going strong, the size is good for an adult male and probably others. The light is bright enough to read the screen in the dark without blinding you.

This watch is a mixed-bag. I think I’ve been wearing it for a couple months now. The automatic time/date-setting feature is fantastic. You can limit the frequency of synchronization to preserve some battery. If it doesn’t receive signal for a while when you’re first setting it, just leave it by a window overnight.It has an alternate time zone, DST, single alarm, timer, and stopwatch.I don’t love the way the light is set to work by default. It shuts off if you change from one mode to the next. Not sure if it can be changed.My main gripe with the watch is the display. The signal meter takes up a decent bit of the watch space and the important information is split among three separate, small areas. It has the year taking up as much space as month and day, which I find annoying. Who needs to see the year every time you check the date? Other indicators on the watch are too small to see.Water resistance is good for daily use. I shower with it on, wash my hands, etc. no issue.It’s a fine watch, I just don’t like some of the design features. Functioning is great. Starting to consider another Waveceptor or maybe even an upgraded line from Casio.It’s not a bad watch but I’ve reviewed a couple better ones without automatic time/date setting. Es una de las mejores compras que he hecho. Este reloj Casio Wave Ceptor es increíble; excelente valor y calidad. Reloj robusto, se sincroniza (actualiza) muy bien por las noches. Debes dejarlo cerca de una ventana y preferentemente en un segundo o tercer piso, y preferentemente aún apuntando hacia el norte de ser posible. Las fotos no le hacen justicia en cuanto a los detalles ya que en vivo su imagen es bastante buena.

Saat sanki çocuk saati gibi geldi bileğim ince benim kalın bileği olanlara tavsiye etmiyorum zira hoş duracağını sanmıyorum, kılavuzu tr değil ayarlaması multi band 5 özelliğini tam kullanamadım manuel ayarlamak durumunda kaldım. bir çok dil olmasına rağmen ki casio Türkiye'de yarım asırdır pazara sahip ve satış yapılıyor neden halen dil konusunda gerek saatin ara yüzünde göremiyoruz. Casio tr web sitesinde bu saate dair en ufak bilgi yok. Totalde çok bi memnun kalmadım.

Bought as Christmas present for my son. It is very well made, comfortable despite the size. The biggest benefit is the automatic wave Ceptor time updates. The screen is very legible, the buttons are nicely tactile. A great watch.

The watch is excellent value. It took a little time to arrive but the price was very modest. This watch has 5 atomic band receicers while the latest have 6 but they cost 5 times more! Do you miss the 6th band - no it works perfectly well with 5. So go on spoil yourself!
