He's forced to grow a little after being accidentally left behind when his folks and siblings fly off to Paris. A good-looking boy, Culkin lights up the screen during several funny sequences, the most famous of which finds him screaming for joy when he realises he's unsupervised in his own house. A bit wooden with dialogue, the then-little star's voice could grate on the nerves (especially in long, wise-child passages of pure bromide), but he unquestionably carries Home Alone. Billie Bird and John Candy show up as two of the interesting strangers Culkin's character meets. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are entertainingly cartoonish as thieves, but the ensuing violence once the little hero decides to keep them out of his house is over-the-top. --Tom Keogh Review: Brilliant. We've had some good ones over the years and a few disappointing ones and this is certainly one of the great ones. The colours are fantastic and the detail and clarity of the image (while retaining it filmic look) is also fantastic. I really can't imagine this film ever looking better than it does here. If you love this film you owe it yourself to get the 4K Blu-ray.

home alone una película infaltable la mejor película navideña. y está transferencia en 4k es muy buena, viene de un máster nativo 4k, y se aprecia cada detalle de los poros y la ropa. el HDR es genial con unos colores muy ricos y hermosos y con un gran brillo. Viene con doblaje latino 5.1 Dolby digital Un Blu Ray 4k muy recomendable.

Meine Damen und Herren, vergessen Sie Rambo und lassen Sie Chuck Norris zu Hause – der einzig wahre Action-Held der 90er ist Kevin McCallister! Kevin – Allein zu Haus ist nicht einfach nur ein Weihnachtsfilm, es ist ein Survival-Guide für Achtjährige mit zu großen Häusern und zu vielen Geschwistern. Es beginnt mit dem besten Weihnachtswunsch aller Zeiten ("Ich wünschte, meine Familie wäre weg!"), der prompt und absolut wundersam in Erfüllung geht. Und was macht Kevin, als er merkt, dass er eine Villa für sich hat? Er isst Eis zum Abendessen, springt im Bett herum und sieht sich einen ultragewalttätigen Gangsterfilm an, dessen ikonisches Zitat ("Den Rest kannst du behalten, du Drecksschwein!") zur ultimativen Waffe gegen den Pizzaboten wird. Der Showdown: Kleinkind gegen Karikaturen-Einbrecher Der Film erreicht seinen Höhepunkt der Genialität mit dem Auftritt der Feuchten Banditen, Harry (Joe Pesci) und Marv (Daniel Stern). Diese beiden sind derart hirnlos, dass sie in jedem anderen Film spätestens nach dem ersten Stolpern das Handtuch werfen würden. Aber hier? Sie sind cartooneske Stoiker des Schmerzes! Kevin verwandelt sein Zuhause in eine Architektur der Zerstörung. Es ist keine Verteidigung mehr, es ist ein sadistischer Kunstkurs. Wir reden hier von: Brennenden Türgriffen: Warum einfach abschließen, wenn man auch die Haut verbrennen kann? Rutschen auf Eis: Ein klassischer Slapstick-Move, perfektioniert mit null Rücksicht auf die Wirbelsäule. Farbeimer-Pendel: Der absolute Killer! Ein Physik-Experiment, bei dem das Ergebnis ein Schädel-Hirn-Trauma ist. Christbaumkugeln unter dem Fenster: Der ultimative Fuß-Massaker-Move. Marv, wir fühlen deinen Schmerz! Die Komik liegt darin, dass diese Fallen physikalisch unmöglich zu überleben wären, die beiden Bösewichte aber mit einem Cartoon-Lächeln (und einer Gehirnerschütterung) einfach weiter machen. Fazit: Kult-Chaos mit Herz Ja, der Film ist ein wenig unrealistisch (Wer vergisst ein Kind? Und wie überlebt man einen Sturz aus dem zweiten Stock auf harten Beton?), aber das ist uns total egal. Kevin – Allein zu Haus liefert: Den besten Kinderstar-Moment der Filmgeschichte. Die lustigsten, dämlichsten Bösewichte überhaupt. Die Lektion, dass man sich seine Wünsche gut überlegen sollte... aber dass es sich lohnt, wenn sie erfüllt werden! Dieser Film ist ein Klassiker, der uns daran erinnert, dass Chaos zur Weihnachtszeit dazugehört und dass ein Achtjähriger, bewaffnet mit Cleverness und einem Talkboy, die Welt retten kann. 5/5 – Ein Film, der auch 30 Jahre später noch immer die Frage aufwirft: Ist es zu spät, mein Haus mit Stolperdrähten zu sichern?
